We found this hidden gem on our last trip to Prata in July. Incredible local place with outstanding food and the ambience was incredible as well was the views from the upstairs dining area. If ever there were a place that deserved the otherwise over-used description "hidden gem", it's the Osteria Il Borgo Dei Fumari. The only restaurant we could see on Google Maps, up an alley and round a couple of corners, it turned to be something rather special. The setting is amazing, like stepping into a mediaeval dream, each room a beautifully restored journey in itself. We found the menu original and the food delicious, from the guinea fowl to the bread; also, this was the only place where we could get a local craft beer. Highly recommended.
