Food was actually really good. Service was a bit strange. Seemed inconvenienced that we were there. Then they sold us a large water but charged us for 3 small bottles. Just a bit of a unprofessional thing to do. A bottle of water shouldn't cost over 8 Lev. We ordered 2 food items and they managed to forget one. Everything was fresh and very tasty! A great salad 'the bear' and beans soon, and fries. Everything is from local products and home made! Will have to come back to try the other things. I ate the classic Shopska salad and a bean soup... loved it :) the service is very And everything is fresh ... can recommend ... We found the attitude towards tourists to be a bit 'nasty.' l think their motto must be "they won't come back so let's rip them off." And they are right: there is no way we'll come back; not with this attitude. Now, tired of being ripped off in most places in our last night we decided to go to this place. At the time it had a single 5 stars review. We could see the decent prices and decided if worse comes to worse we pay and go. You wouldn't believe the amazing we got... l'd take this in London over the local offer any time of the day, trust me. Boy what a hamburger... Both hamburgers arrived hot, fries were burning hot... and the bread... oh that toasted bread was so good! The service was very and l would say they were clearly not used to having tourists around (l guess they go to the fancier restaurants where they get ripped off). The only two tourists present that night at this place were my wife and myself. l'd say the rest of the people were locals. One of them was an employee of the near by cave (driving a specific 4x4 truck) who we had seen during the day. The only downside was the music. They were playing some 'punk music' a bit on the loud side. Things got better when they switched to Iron Maiden... Usually, l would take one or two stars because of that (it truly wasn't welcoming and it was a bit unpleasant... Iron Maiden and the like was fine, though) but not this time as those hamburgers fully deserve 5 stars. When it comes to the price, a and a large bottle of beer was 10 leva (you can see it on one of the pictures). We ordered two "Rakia" instead and ended up paying 24 leva if memory serves... perhaps 22... So, all in all, we mixed up with the locals, had a wonderful hamburger, saved some cash and most importantly, we felt we made the right choice and we were not ripped off again. Also, we felt welcomed and treated with warmth and friendliness. There is a little river that goes parallel to the place. If they were to shut down the music l'm sure you'd have a lovely dinner with the lovely river sound on the background (It's a suggestion guys!). One of the best burgers we ate in Bulgaria. We stopped there for desert with my family! We were amazed with the hospitality, service and of course the traditional deserts ! Exactly what we were looking to feel the culture and homemade sweets! Highly recommend! Great place, with low prices, big portions, kind and service, and the natural setting to add up. Definitely “a must visit” for the hungry and adventurous visitors of the local caves and the small village of Trigrad. Прекрасен семеен ресторант в началото на Триград, близо до пещерата Дяволското гърло (на около 2 минути с кола, има къде да се паркира, около 15 минути пеша оттам). Храната е вкусна, приготвена с качествени продукти, отношението е топло, атмосферата е чудесна - край реката, обзаведено е с желание и внимание към детайла. Хапнахме няколко пъти там и препоръчваме горещо. Много вкусна храна. Цени нормални, даже евтино. Малко повечко се чака за ястията, но си заслужава. Бяхме 4 човека, които винаги оставят храна, но тази беше толкова вкусна, че едвам шофирах след това. Мястото е уютно, точно до рекичка. Just the tasty and cozy feeling of a “home”!
