First off, the food is very good. Nothing wrong with that. But the waiter (male) was very angry for some reason. It was very strange as when we received our food, he started to play an instrument very well. He was happy and all. But then when we were paying, he got super mad, shoved some away, got irritated that were queuing up. There were barely in the restaurant nor waiting to be get an table, so very strange. Just because of this, will never come back. It’s a shame, because the food was very good. Very delicious food and very friendly people. We had fritatte suppe, schnitzel and kaiserschmarnn😊 and we got the food fast. We highly recommend this restaurant! The owners are amazing people, we had such a nice time there. The plates are really well-served and super tasty. The drinks were cold and refreshing. I wish I had a place like that close home. We loved it! We stopped here on our way back from Neuschwanstein to Garmisch. We wanted to get away from the crowds and happened upon this place, which was about halfway between Neuschwanstein and Garmisch. We only had goulash soup and beer. But the soup was wonderful and the best thing was the staff. Sonia and Frank were our servers. What great people. Frank actually picked up the button box and played us a couple songs. The place was warm, friendly clean and very authentic. Highly recommend this place for a stop for food views, and to stretch your legs. Great selection and friendly service. Food arrived without delay and was very good. Several choices for meals, deserts, and drinks. Worth the stop Excellent lunch and outstanding service. Extremely kind people. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it! 🤩 Stopped here on our way back from Neuschwanstein and we were so glad we did! Our whole group was delighted by the food and enchanted by the beautiful little town it’s in. Amazing locally sourced Austrian food. Our waiter was awesome and we had such a pleasant time. If you’re a tourist they also speak English perfectly. Passing though the area and found this place. The staff were very friendly, the portions were large and the food was very and authentic. We would be happy to eat here again.
