One of the Best Places To Visits in Jugowice Despite the language barrier and some infrastructure limitations, Riese - Włodarz offers a worthwhile and immersive historical experience. This was a very interesting experience. The tour lasts one hour (we had to wait 35 minutes for our time slot) and begins with a 10-minute video, albeit in Polish. This is not suitable for disabled visitors or those who find it difficult to walk as the surfaces inside the complex were very muddy, wet, and uneven. There were also steep stairs to climb up and down as well as a rather small wobbly boat to get in and out of. It is a great shame that they don't offer any English-speaking tour (not even once or twice a day) as this is clearly a popular tourist attraction. The guide we had was able to speak English so this would be possible to implement. They also need to improve the infrastructure. The road into the attraction was incredibly bumpy, and parking was difficult to find. Also, the toilets are stinky portaloos. So it's clear there is still a lot of work to do. Consider it a work in progress, but even now, it's still very much worth a visit. Absolutely amazing and must see. Not only for explorers and WWII enthusiasts but for everyone to remember the arthrocentesis and mass murderers the Germans committed. Must see. The guide shared a lot of information and it was impressive. Unfortunately it was 4 years ago. Visited again few days ago and it was like conveyor - quick tour through unfinished parts only, guide was bored and constantly checking time, in half an hour we were through without visiting the finished parts. Bar/restaurant associated. This was possibly the best of the 3 even though there was no English audio at all, however there's only 5 people at a time going down. You do get to take the boat through this one but honestly they just run their own tourism in Poland by not having English speaking tours or audio. I even emailed them and received no response at all! I mean it's just embarrassing for Poland because soo many more people would probably visit if they stepped up their tourism in the remote areas! All of the hotels around you are affected by you not marketing to Western tourist with English speaking tours! It's very cold inside the caves so bring something warm.
