Great atmosphere, amazing people , beautiful horses and gorgeous surroundings! If you want the outdoor experience, fresh air and people loving animals with great trails for walking or going with the dirt bikes then this is the place for you! Great for families with children of all ages! Beautifull site, but the road leading to it is awfull, even for Romanian standards. For our motorhome the services were all there; Fresh water and Grey water removal at every spot and all the other amenities were ok as well. We payed 120RON for one night with 2 adults and a vehicle. That's more then the everage in the Region, but it's up to yourself of course if it's worth it. Vereinbaren nice and cozy camping witam a small pool. Very good value for money. They even have draught beer 😀 We loved Dara's campsite. We pitched our tent in one of the spots near the fish pond. Its a gorgeous remote area with lots of wild flowers on the hill behind you. They have several cabins and a small swimming pool that was popular with families who come every year. We were made very welcome. There was hot water for washing up, 2 toilets and a shower. Enough for what we needed. Great location if you are visiting Sighisoara. The last bit of the drive is on a stony track. Look out for the camping signs near the church in Prod, google maps takes you to a gas field, so ignore that! This is a wonderful place to be. Usually I spend 1 day in a place but here I spent 3 nights. This is was a fantastic surprise upon our arrival here. We we’re looking for a nice, calm and peaceful location to end our vacation and this was all we looked for. We stayed in one of the lodges and we enjoyed the pool, all the sports outside (ping-pong, badminton, voleyball) and the nice views. The staff here is absolutely amazing, they are so friendly and nice. The y cooked amazing food for us and made sure our stay is at it’s best. I would not only recommend this as a vacation spot, but also as a remote working place as the internet here works great and the location is in the middle of the nature :) Update after the reply to this review because they seem to forget what happened: 1. There is difference between pet friendly and pet friendly against a tax. I am always traveling with my dogs (we have two and a friend’s dog also stayed with us), and most of the times I didn’t have to pay any tax and in case there was a tax it was specified BEFORE making the reservation and it was also present on the hotel’s website (which is not the case here so you should update that). In fact, as I mentioned, the communication was the issue because you MUST tell all the taxes beforehand. We were just surprised that we had to pay 200 lei for our two dogs. However it was very very funny that our friend didn’t have to pay for his dogs so I guess you are just choosing which customers get the tax. 2. The only time when the dogs were alone in the was when we ate on the second time. So only ONE TIME, for 2-3 hours or so when we wanted to have some human time only. They were a but anxious at first for around 20 mins before they fell asleep, but we made sure nothing would get scratched or broken WHCIH THE LADY THERE MADE SURE OF BECAUSE SHE CAME IN AFTER OUR STAY AND CHECKED THE ROOM. More than that, we even came regularly to the and peeked on the window to make sure they behave and they slept all the time. 3. As I said the breakfast was great, the lunch (2nd course) was very basic, we had only one lunch there of course, so maybe the next were better. But my opinion stays. 4. When I said that they are unprofessional regarding their replies for the reviews I meant that they are quite rude in SOME and not that they are not replying to the one star ones. 5. As I said the price for the (which is small for 4 adults but probably enough for 2 adults and 2 kids) is high compared to other places I’ve been in terms of space and what it offers. One mention maybe: the was clean, nothing to object here. All in all my opinion stays: TOO EXPENSIVE IF YOU HAVE MEDIUM DOGS (btw the dogs were not large, they were all mediums) to stay in the they offer. Instead it’s way cheaper with a camper or something. Very poor communication, high prices. Surprise taxes that were not mentioned on the phone so we ended up paying more than we anticipated. The is very small and expensive compared to other similar places (maybe it’s worth it if you have kids, but for a couple the price is way too high for what it offers). Very basic food (except breakfast which was delicious and was worth it) with high prices. Not very professional based on how they reply to reviews. A very quite place, remote and yet with good Internet. We were with a camper and really enjoyed the view and activities such as outside jacuzi and horse back ridding. The hosts are very nice and friendly people.
