As with most historic town centers in Romania it's rather small. I was under the impression that it would take at least a day to explore. It took us a bit over 2 hours to walk it all including almost all its streets, the covered stairway, souvenir shopping, and a cup of coffee in one of its cafes. The old town is nice but there's not much else to do in Sighisoara. Amazing place. It's Vlad's birthplace. Also, you can eat in the building where he was supposedly born and where he spent some time. The place is worth visiting for many reasons. Another one is the original infrastructure. You can literally feel the old times. All these walls, towers, alleyways, cobbled roads, massive church with an interesting history (and catacombs)... Oh and don't forget the wooden stairs. These stairs... Well you will know when you get there. And definitely pay the visit to the clock tower as it's not just some clock tower, inside it there is the museum, where different floors have different things to show (impressive) and at the top, the view you get is absolutely worth every penny (tickets are really cheap) Nice little city, and museum! At the entrance of the citadel is the best ice cream with dragon fruit, home made. And there's also chimney cake shop. Great views from the tower. Nice for tourist or local people Oh My God! It is a great city it has three or four castles that you can visit .They have lots of touristic restaurants, traditional food that you can buy near 10-20 lei.
