Located in the beautiful country side after Veldhoven. Perfect environment for team/group events. On the other side it's not easy to reach and the food was a bit scarce for the group. Only some typical Dutch snacks as croquettes and bread for lunch, that are not refilled. Bad coffee as well. On the other hand the sweets in the middle of the morning were pretty tasty! Great facility. Staff communicate well in English as well as Dutch. Hostel accommodation is of excellent quality. A little noisy at night as doors are thin. Many conference and breakout rooms. Good food and plenty of it. Could do with a choice of desserts and fruit. I spent two nights and two days here and absolutely loved almost all that they offered - big spacious rooms, comfortable bed and linen, spacious bathroom and toilet, good food and drinks thrice a day, green views outside that invited me to walk and workout! Different kinds of lovely seating arrangements in the shade, in the sun, everywhere! A couple of dishwashers. What I didn't like is the shower area, I like glass walkin showers or big bathtubs more than open showers. Their bathroom was disabled friendly though. I spend some of the most memorable days with my 7 colleagues here! 🥰 I have to clarify that I rated the location based on how nice I thought it was. If I had to rate the accessibility by public transport they would get a failing grade. It takes 25m by car from my house and 99 minutes by public transport. We were there with a large group for a teambuilding/management strategy meeting and used a conference room and a bar in the next room at the end of our day. The service was great and so was the food. One thing I want to mention was that they booked the next guests for the conference room too soon after hours which led to them having to ask if we would please move our group to the bar to make room for their cleaners etc. Which is fine of course but I can imagine it being more of a bother if you don't have a different location to go to. We had an organised family lunch in the restaurant. It was such great weather, warm and sunny and we all wanted to stay outside and dine on the terrace. Absolutely no problem! Food was delicious. Mushroom soup, something divine! The the spicy chicken to lick your fingers. Enough for vegetarians and carnivores between us. Two small min points - no salade, or just sliced vegetables to be eaten as salade. And, a small dessert. Anything sweet: scoup of ice-cream, or a chocolate would be enough. But again, I like finishing my meal with dessert, so this is very subjective. The playground in front of the restaurant perfect for children, even the small ones. To summarise, a very good place to go to on a nice day for a lunch/dinner, especially for families with children. Very nice place to stay. We had our business outing here whole day and got served twice with high quality food. I would also recommend this place for big parties like a wedding. Friendly and skilled horeca personeel. Nice place to go with a group for different events or to spend good time there. They have all sort of games and entertainment grouo facilities. Also walking and running options near fields or forest or small lakes. No direct public transport to the location, but they can provide a transport solution. Also they have small restaurant or bar for drinks. Great service. Had wedding party here and they followed up very well, made sure we had everything we needed. During the party great service, and the food also great. Will come again at a next opportunity.
