We had a couple of parties at this place within a few days from each other. The first party was a miss, as the serving us was a bit inexperienced. After the party, we notified the manager, Romy, who apologised immediately and promised to make it up for the next party. During the next party we were indeed attented by one of the more experienced members, Dany, and he indeed exceeded the expectations. Everything was just perfect. Overall a location for a relaxing afternoon with kids. All the place is mess, garbage and full of dirty. The toilets are not clean and there no soap to wash your hands. Although, I informed the stuff, they said that there is no soap. They said that they ordered but didn’t receive yet ( funny excuse). There should be cleaning stuff working continuously. If you have such big place and cost people for money and also hundreds of children plays there, you have to serve, keep it clean and tidy. Carpets are really dirty and I couldn’t stay more. I will never come again. It's OK for once or twice, more than that it's really boring place. But a better playing area compared to other indoor areas nearby Huge place. Lots of exciting fun things to for the kids. There're age appropriate sections, that makes the small ones feel safe among the bigger kids. Only junk food and sugars are the only option to eat inside. Come prepared for that. We went there a few times with my 10 years old, mostly during the day on my mama dagen. It’s clean, quiet, and peaceful but toys and some stuff are a bit old and worn out. Time to be replaced. My were having so much fun here. We spent more than €20 to get in with our 2 toddlers and then bought almost €40 worth of food. We were fine with all that. Then I pulled out an old bottle of tea from the bottom of the stroller to throw away, and as I was wrangling my child to walk to the trash can, we were kicked out for having an “outside drink.” I had already bought 3 drinks, this was an old bottle of tea and just trash I was throwing away. We will not be coming back. Update July 2023: I am downgrading my original rating, as Ballorig Veldhoven has really gone downhill. They clearly do not have enough employees to handle what such a place requires. There are long queues at the catering corner with only one till open, and even basic dishes from the kitchen take ages to arrive. Many families now bring their own food despite it being against the rules, and do nothing about it. On busy days, it is not uncommon to find no employees at the entrance, leading to frustrated visitors simply walking in without paying. Inside, the air quickly becomes warm and stuffy, and despite years of complaints, there is still no proper ventilation system. The playgrounds should be the redeeming factor, but they are chaotic on crowded days: older rough in toddler areas, parents change diapers directly on the playmats, food and wrappers are scattered everywhere, and some parents even enter areas with dirty shoes. do not intervene at all. The entrance fee was cheap (7.50 € one-time, or 7 €/month subscription), though catering was pricey and bringing your own food or drink (even water) was forbidden. Back then, my main complaint was the lack of control over which accessed which areas, which could get dangerous for toddlers. I had hoped they would improve with time, but instead, things have only worsened. Overall, while the concept is good, the management and staffing issues have turned this into a frustrating and unsafe experience. It’s place for to play. If you go in the morning the opening time and on a weekday it’s usually not crowded and it’s clean. If you only stay till 12:00 they return half the amount .i.e 4.95 € currently Cheap place It is was hot and the AirCo were not turned on. We stayed for 30 mins and went back. Overtime the place is becoming a mess. It's place for for they don't allow face painting anymore which is sad . I had facepaint which dries after applying doesn't smudge or rub easily on dress or any toys . I don't think even the paint i use makes the stuff over there get dirty . That's really bad that no more facepainting are allowed for inside 😕. I don't understand why it's not allowed?
