The guy obstructed us to pass his terrace and started offensively shouting ‘kijken kijken niet kopen’ referring to stinger dutch when just shopping next door suggesting we had to pay for walking his pavement. During 3 weeks in Croatia we’ve not ran into a frustrated local (?!) but he’re is one with a horrible attitude!! Has Holland treated you bad? Had to pay for walking pavements? Probably Karma! We ordered a birthday cake from Slastičarna Hajduk in Buzet at the very last minute, and they absolutely saved the day! From start to finish, everything was easy and friendly. They delivered exactly what we wished for! The decoration was perfect for the celebration, the flavours were fresh and balanced. The birthday boy was thrilled and we all loved it! I must always stop here, at least for a beer or coffee, when I am passing in Buzet. We stopped after a long trip to have a drink. We came on the terrace, realised there's a bakery around the corner and went to fetch something to bite, at which the very yelled after us if we had changed our minds and to decide if we wanted to sit or not. We apologised for the inconvenience, tho we didn't do anything wrong, the terrace was empty. When we returned and sat at the table the same asked us what we wanted to drink, we ordered, at which he attacked one of us because we had the indecency to eat at their terrace and "make a mess". It's absolutely normal to eat in bars and cafés if they don't serve food. He even yelled at one of us to shower. For the record, we're metal heads going back from a festival. We've been in all kinds of countries and bars and NEVER have we been so insulted only for the fact we wear band t-shirts and have long hairs. We showered that day. Twice. Despite being on the road. Hopefully the decides what he wants to do in his life and just stops waiting. Not his best call. We decided to leave and he was shouting at us, calling us slurs and wanted to start a fight. Don't go there, this 'person' should not work around people at all. Worst experience ever! The moment we parked the car the came and rudely attacked us that this parking (public parking tho!) is only for the guests of bar and telling us to park it directly behind the line (the car was 20cmm across the line). We reparked the car, said no problem, we will have a coffee. We sat down, ordered and mineral water, the came and was acting extremely all the time. Parcheggiamo in un regolare parcheggio vicino al locale per dirigerci al panificio vicino con l'intenzione di prenderci poi un caffè in questo posto (tra l'altro). Il gestore con boria e maleducazione si rivolge a mio marito, che mi aspettava in auto, pretendendo che spostasse l'auto perchè il parcheggio era suo. Inutile dire che il caffè qui non solo non ce lo siamo presi, ma nemmeno ce lo prenderemo per la prossima settimana che staremo qui😂. Caro gestore, la privatizzazione di spazi pubblici andrebbe segnalata alle autorità e si ricordi che con la violenza e la prevaricazione non si va da nessuna parte. Tanto per capire il livello di follia in 5 minuti si è 'occupato' di mio marito per 4 volte...meglio che si occupi dei clienti fin che ne ha piuttosto che disturbare la gente che parcheggia in regolari spazi pubblici. The was truly unemphatetic, impolite, even and on top of that he probably charged us (as foreigners) more than the locals. Definitely would not recommend. I recently had an experience with one of your employees — a man around 30 to 35 years old, possibly of Bosnian background. Based on his behavior, I got the impression that he may not have had much experience dealing with customers professionally. The way he interacted with clients was quite concerning, and I sincerely believe he could benefit from some training in communication and customer service. It might even be helpful for him to speak with a professional, as his attitude seemed quite inappropriate for a public-facing role. Please consider raising this with your management. With some proper guidance, I’m sure he could improve, but continuing with this kind of behavior may damage your company’s image in the long run.
