What a lovely place, invited to a party and it was worth the drive. Easy to find using the satnav, the place was clean and plenty of car park spaces. Staff where attentive, willing to help and always on hand on the rink, at the bar or collecting roller skates 🛼. Shout out to the DJ, music was on point! 😎 I will recommend - make it clearer when announcing the games, it's sometimes had to hear the DJ for instructions for the games. 🎯 I would definitely recommend this place, get ready to roller 🛼🛼🛼. Enjoy! Went on a Saturday, wasn’t busy, there were a few people but not too many. I went with my sister, cousin and uncle, it was my first time roller-skating, same with my sister but we got the hang of it- was a experience and the place had amazing vibes, 100% would go again. After we had enough, we sat down and had some yummy cheesy chips before leaving. Well furnished, but music was awful started to get better towards the end of the night. For my daughter's 16th birthday we brought her to yesterday's session at Rollacity in Purdeys industrial estate Rochford. We got there at 6.30pm with the session stating at 7pm, we were the first in the carpark. When we got out of the car, kids were starting to queue outside the building, we were around 5th in line. Then one by one, more and more kids pushed in front of us. I then decided to say something and got a mouthful from the young girl in front, by then we were about 20th in the queue. By the time we could go in, the bouncer came to the door and told everyone to move back which them meant we got pushed around. I made the other bouncer aware that they needed some crowd control outside because all the kids pushed in front of us and he apologised. We then had to wait another 20 mins in a queue whilst others paid when we had a pre-paid ticket. Will not be repeating the experience, sad as it was a birthday celebration Went for Mother’s Day with kids aged 3 and 5. Everyone had a time!! Not overcrowded, boots were comfortable and clean. Venue was great. The DJ kept the music pumping! Had a small lunch that was good value and arrived quick. Girls had a time. Bit annoying that they cleared the several times for one girl’s birthday, once would have been ample but otherwise fun was had I love Rollacity. It’s such a friendly place. The staff are always from the reception, to the catering. Especially the instructors! They’re life long skaters who really know their stuff and adapt their teaching according to the skill level of the learners. I’ve been skating for years now, but came away from a lesson with so much more confidence! Nathan spotted little things that, when changed, made a huge difference. The lessons are really inexpensive too; and you can have a few people learning for the same price as one person! The is hardwood, super smooth and there’s plenty of seating. The cafe/bar area is a place to socialise. (Also the food is fantastic!) I’ll try to be there every Weds evening - see you there. I absolutely loved this! Went for my birthday, it wasnt too packed, staff were friendly and kept things clean. Super fun day! Amazing started bad but ended good at it yummy food went with children We had a visit. Happy staff, everyone was friendly in there. We was there just over a couple of hours. We ate lunch (hot dog, burgers etc) and was pleasantly surprised with the price and the quality. Will definitely be back 😁 We travelled from West London to visit. RollerCity is a venue, a good sized rink, music and colourful lighting. I like how there are games to break up the skating and 1 price admits you all day and not timed like other venues. Highly recommended Girls loved every minute of it, they will be back next week This place was good until you sit down and the staff start coming up to you being extremely rude and telling you to get off the ring when you stop for two seconds and proceeding to get aggressive and swear when you start to get off the ring. They are very rude as the night progresses and the food was really expensive and the burger was a rustlers burger but charged for 5.25 roller skating was good until you stop at the edge of the for two seconds and the security come up to you aggressively swearing in your face when your only 15, then preceded to grab your parents phone when they try to take a picture of security to report the incident and proceeds to be aggressive Very fun experience, nice for dates, birthdays and just a nice day out! I wish more people knew about it. It is a little bit hard to get to if you’re not driving but I would say it was worth the stress and hour I waiting for the next bus since the experience was fun. Everyone can skate freely in the and at times they do games, and the games were kinda childish like tag or bulldog but it felt like I was a primary school child again and I really enjoyed it. I would come again and recommend to many!
