I was thinking to change my DL. membership to this facility (there are several reason like £175/month , broken sauna for 2 months and so an), but seeing so many bad review about this especially about sauna and room and still not knowing about the annual membership fee. Please somebody convince me this is better than David L. Thanks. Absolutely brilliant since they've been taken over by everyone active. Gym is well equipped and the is decent. It's such a shame , used to be a lovely place to swim. The on the poolside are filthy. Showers haven't worked for weeks. No communication or compensation for members. Got a great pool. Also a kids there for families. Not very busy, it's ideal. Love going there for an evening swim. There's lots of other things to do there too. Classes, gym, spin, all sorts. It's a brilliant place. We ce here 3 times a year as the hall is hired for my children's Kung-fu grading. The hall is very large indeed and ideal for hire for larger needs. There is an onsite cafe which has nice staff and reasonably priced. There is also a here. There is plenty of onsite free parking. I love being able to take my son here however the showers ALWAYS let my experience down. In all the years I have been there the showers have been awful. If they do work the pressure is terrible. Come on sort it out. The was a lovely temperature. The area is good, but showers are not so good. No power in them. Staff were all very nice and helpful I had one of the best swims ever at Clements Hall today. The life guards who were on duty today, were fantastic and did an exemplary job. They kept the lane moving and filtered out those that were obstructing the swimmers. As a lane swimmer.....that is exactly what you hope for and expect. Fantastic job.....loved my today--thank you to today's brilliant life guards I go here for adult lessons. I've tried belfairs and garons ( a few years ago now) but clements hall are the best... by far! Spin classes are good too... lots of bikes! Always clean, no horrible smells in the as there is sometimes at garons. Staff are all lovely. Never a problem to park. Check before you book as none swimmers allowed in big lanes. Not enjoyable splashing and choking trying not to drown not great experience if you want to lanes as interruptions but according to staff acceptable as being discriminate. My opinion none swimmers should have own lanes away from swimmers. worse now everyone active took over. Great for adults and kids. Me and my family loves going there. But I hope they update facilities soon it’s getting so outdated Brilliant place to go to the gym - facilities are brilliant and best place locally for exercise. Fantastic and welcoming staff at the front desk, lifeguards were chatty and the coffee in the cafe was lovely! Unfortunately since the takeover not much has changed, showers are always out of use or broken toilets are never clean jacuzzi always out of action and close the and spa area early or whenever they like. On a positive note the staff and lifeguards are all friendly and the gym is tidy and nice and air cooled. Terrible visit today for the inflatable session. The normal are out of action (they don’t look like they are being refurbished so no idea why), the replacement room was far from the pool, had no privacy or cubicles, my son did not feel comfortable out in the open so instead chose not to so we wasted £5 on that. The long walk barefoot across the centre to get to and from the was on a dirty walkway. The only way into the is via the viewing gallery but they haven’t bothered to temporarily cover a row of seats so that it’s solely used as a pathway for bathers so the floor is filthy with mud from spectators shoes. One of my children use armbands, but it wasn’t advertised that the inflatable ended so far in the deep end that kids that kids using arm bands had to jump off before the slide at the end (the bit the kids actually want to go on!) I assumed I could wait at the end and help her back to the shallow end but was told that was not allowed. Really unimpressed with this place. Does nobody there put themselves in your customer’s place and anticipate these issues? Had the worst experience this morning. Was told the entrance to the was out of order so had to walk through the to change. Noticed as soon as we got side that it was absolutely freezing in there, very odd as pools are normally roasting! Went to get my Son changed, are the filthiest I've seen. They look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. Really disgusting and unhygienic. Baby was so cold that after 20 minutes my son had blue lips and was shivering. We couldn't stay in there long enough to use the time we had paid for. Made me really angry. Thought we could warm him up with a shower but they were also cold. Complained to manager and was told the is always 30°. It's not. He clearly hasn't been anywhere near it. Also told me the were that way because of high foot fall. We went at 10am and they open at 8am. There's no way they got that dirty in 2 hours. Didn't seem to care at all. Toilets and Cafe also really dirty. All stuff that can be easily be fixed if someone bothered to sort it out. Just a basic level of hygiene would be nice.
