One of the Best Places To Visits in Mucking Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great location on the banks of the Thames, free parking and and but for children brilliant park area with swings and various play apparatus the best zip wire ever according to my grandchildren Various length paths provide excellent walks with a number of bird hydes. Lovley tea room 😋 and just watching the birds from the tea room nice walks too. Plenty of parking but it does get busy at the weekend. Plenty for to do An amazing place, open footpaths that are used and suitable for walkers, dog walkers (on leads), runners and cyclists. As you can see from the photos the are great and the information are useful and interesting for and adults. The main building has a viewing platform on the roof and a cafe, with shop. There is a viewing hide with benches that I imagine would be popular with bird watchers. We are lucky to have this and I really hope people enjoy it for years to come, please use the and they accept donations An amazing place, open footpaths that are used and suitable for walkers, dog walkers (on leads), runners and cyclists. Also a playground location with over the Thames, even though some of it is a bit industrial. Coffee is good, food choices limited, but nonetheless. Excellent to stretch your legs by the river, plus it has a playground for the and plenty of (free) parking. Lovely round wooden building with a cute gift with lots of eco things and dog toys. The look great but the food is disappointing, I had a very dry baked potato served on a tiny plate with no salad and my partner had some very go hum cheese on toast. A real missed opportunity as the has wonderful of the huge cranes of the container port and lots of incredible birds. This place it is pure bliss!!! Amazing place to go for a walk alone ( although it is nature, u feel safe ) or with your dog , chill for a coffee and unwind from the busy life. It is a bliss!!! I could have not enjoy the time spent there more 🤩🤩🤩 There's a parking, playground for children, a coffee shop, clean toilets inside and a souvenir shop. The view it is amazing. Especially from the roof top which you can access it via the coffee shop. Apparently after 5pm the place it is closed. So not sure if you can access the grounds as there is a gate at the start of path that leads to the coffee shop. Great place to visit for a quiet stroll or to have fun with the family. Great of the Thames and nice open areas for picnics etc. given the location is some way from main roads it was not very busy. There is a small play area for younger children and the wildlife centre itself which has a cafe, visitor centre and shop. Will definitely be visiting again. A lovely countryside park next to the Thames, lovely gentle walks ands a small park for young children. I wish they would improve the initial access road into the park, it is absolutely dreadful, potholes everywhere, not ideal for low profile tyres so take note. Apart from this minor problem the rest is wonderful. Essex Wildlife Trust Thameside Discovery Park is a fantastic spot for lovers, families, and anyone looking to escape into the outdoors. Located on the site of a former landfill, the park has been transformed into a beautiful reserve with stunning over the Thames Estuary. The visitor centre is welcoming, with a café offering refreshments and a selling wildlife-related gifts. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and passionate, always happy to share insights about the local wildlife. This is a magnificent location for a dog walk. Trails are well established and fairly extensive. There is parking, a play area for and magnificent views. The dog could walk on grass or pathway, but was not completely muddied when we got back. There is information about the wildlife as you walk along and the cafe, while not a particularly attractive building on the outside, was an excellent landmark to help find your bearings. I went on a day when the sky was cloudy and rain was due in the afternoon and I had a two-hour dry window. Nice building, great view of the birds and boats. Oh and hot chocolates 😀 Wonderful play area for having an amazing zip line that the loved. Nice and gifts with amazing from the rooftop. Free to visit, can donate if you want to help conserve nature. There are walks around the place and an area for bird watching too.
