On our organized dinner they served vegetable soup, perfectly slow cooked lamb and a fruit cake with meringue. All the products are locally sourced. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The place is a beautiful "barn" with tiled stove. If you want to taste Romanian cusine in relaxing surroundings then that's your place. The owner was really nice, the food was good (large portions, by the way), and both the inside of the restaurant and the yard looked beautiful. But do consider that this is not your typical restaurant. This is a small family business, so the menu is limited to only a few (4, when came) types of dishes. If you follow a specific diet or you're a picky eater, there's a high chance this place is not for you. A little slice of heaven. Punch Gastronomie was a fabulous place for dinner! At first we came around closing time and Eugen could only serve us the Pork Ciorba (soup) as the kitchen was mainly closed. The soup itself was amazing and would 100% recommend. Then he offered to cook us pork steak and dauphinoise which we were very appreciative of and the meal itself was fabulous once again as the steaks weren’t too soft or hard, the perfect texture. He then offered us pancakes for dessert and they were very tasty and fluffy. All in all, this was one of the best Traditional Romanian meals I’ve ever had and would highly recommend you go for a meal!
