Friendly people and a great authentic atmosphere. Only two dishes to choose from but typical Romanian and very good. Bring some time to sit outside and to enjoy the country lifestyle. Family business, very kind and filled with hospitality! Part of the staff speaks Italian as well. We didn't make any reservations beforehand. The menu was : Meatballs broth; Pumpkin soup; Goulash stew 🍲 Variety of coffees Water Elderflower lemonade 🍋 The broth was absolutely amazing! Goulash was like my mum/grandma used to make - delicious 😋 Cappuccino and elderflower lemonade - perfect! Total for 3 persons was 120 RON. I recommend this place! It's a good memory to add on top of the others when visiting Viscri. What a wonderful place! A beautiful garden with seating inside the barn. Fresh bread, tasty soup, delicious dessert....and you MUST drink the elderflower juice! The portions are huge and the owners are so kind. Food was good but service very slow, we had to wait 20 min to get the drinks. Good place to eat something frugal, traditional and good coffee. From what I have seen there isn t really a variety of options for food, only the daily menu. One of the waiters looked like he's in a hurry, a bit arrogant, bit disspapointed for such a nice location. Cheers!🍺 The food was oh my god so delicious! There were 3 dishes to choose from: with meatballs, zuchinni and goulash for main course. We had the meatballs and goulash. The was the best of this kind I ever had! I recommend this place 100%. Exceptional food and service! Very quaint. The only choice at the time was and bread. Two of us opted for a vegetarian option which they gladly made with some dumplings. Cat was a bonus!
