The host is very passionate about restoring and maintaining one of the oldest surviving water mills in Europe. He was very warm and funny, at the same time explaining all the technical details related to milling. And he has great tasting Palinca. 100% worth the visit. It’s great to see families still preserving the old ways. The owner gave us a nice tour of the and how it works. Don't forget to buy somerhing hand made, like a bag of fresh flour, jam or sweater or a pair of socks kneatted by the 86 years old Grandmother. The 5 lei visiting tax is barely enough to cover the expenses for the maintenanace of the mill. Very nice place. The owner is super friendly and will explain the whole history of this family run mill. You can buy home-made jams and palinca from the owner. The entry fee is 5RON/person.
