If you go a little further from the towards the gate (exit to the highway), there is a beautiful view of fields and hills. The rough, textured walls and natural carvings evoke a sense of timelessness, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the space's profound simplicity. Şinca Veche is renowned for its mysterious and supernatural occurrences. Many visitors have recounted strange phenomena, such as miraculous healing, unexplained lights or orbs, an intense sensation of being watched, glowing symbols like the Star of David and Yin-Yang, distorted sense of time, and enigmatic auditory experiences. These events contribute to the intrigue and allure of this fascinating location. The nearby modern monastery, the Schitul “Saint Nectarie,” skillfully blended the ancient and the contemporary, was consecrated on December 19, 2006.
