Am vizitat acum cateva luni. Era destul de pustiu. Erau inflorite narcisele. Zona este umeda, dar acum, din cauza secetei, era uscat pamantul. Nice place. Good until you reach the destination. Wonderful flowers. It needs some improvements in the protected area parc. We went a little too early, the daffodils were not in bloom. Probably you can see them after May 15. But the views are very beautiful. No official signs, not nothing. No real information, a lot of garbage laying around, no info spot. It’s a deserted place. The local authorities are worthless, doing nothing, not even the bare minimum. Huge dissapointment, but they sure to like to brag in the press about how beautiful is like in their meadow. Lovely place to make a walk through nature. It's a flat place and thus resembles more like a park. To get here you will travel on an asphalt from Zarnesti and just follow the signs. At one point you will have to leave the asphalt for a dirt one, witch is a good forest and can be traveled by car. I just followed Google maps and got right to it. Best time to visit is may as the are blossoming and you can see why this place is a natural monument. If you get here earlier or later, the place still offers a wonderful place to spend the time in nature. Huge open space on the hills, the areas with are delimited by a marked path. Free entry, no fee. Wear proper shoes after rainy days because the place is soaked with water. There is a festival at the end of May when blooming season starts, traditional music and food, but extremely crowded. The narrow is supra saturated in that period of time. Risk to get stuck for hours because some "drivers" let the cars on that narrow It is beautiful in the springtime when daffodils are blooming. Be sure to visit it during May. The trails are pretty wet in the rainy season, so be sure to have the right footwear, or just try to walk barefoot. Great place to visit when in full season. Unfortunately i arrived a little too late, but still, a calming place. Amazing view with lots of and birds. I saw only the white daffodils. I visit this special place each year, at least twice. I love the flower meadows. These tiny, humble, white are beautiful by their simplicity. They bloom in May. Though this is a protected flower and area, it is such a shame that a lot of people pick the flowers. The rangers were present, but still, people picked flowers. A flower is beautiful, where it grows and blooms. Should be only admired. The area should be protected better. Besides this, the area is clean, there is parking possibility and it is quite easy to access the place by car. There was water everywhere, absolutely no flowers, no decent paths, it's just a couple trees and some ponds. I don't recommend going there, it's not worth your time.If you really want to come, at least look up when the blossom. Not so many daffodils anymore, however a lot of them had yet to bloom. We got there on a rainy day, but I am sure on a nicer day the experience will be different. There are no clear markings into the protected area, just a sign post that can possibly be the beginning of the trail, but it's not a big deal. Ceva super...câte trebuie văzut în sezon...
