I really love this for a walk all year round. We usually then visit the Smugglers Creek for food and drinks. This trip we went into the Surfers Bar and where very impressed. The has soft sand in front of the Sandhouse hotel and has signs to that effect. Drivers on some occasions get stuck in the sand and the tide comes in and floods the stranded car as seen in my video This is a fantastic and miles long, you can take your car on to the hard sand and park up, also good for walking swimming surfing and anything eles you can think of, the water is pritty safe but never take chances and even on busy days its so big you will have plenty of room. Lovely surfing spot 🏄‍♀️🌊nice sandy beach🏄‍♀️🌊 Fabulous Nice Super place , big beach, surfing, swim , I would recommend not going to this side of the beach. There is very little parking and you have to walk down a hill from the Smugglers Creek pub. Also on this side of the people drive onto the and park up, which I'm not a big fan of. Plus this side is a bit more built up with a hotel and various buildings backing onto it. If I was going to go back I'd go to the northern side of the which looks nicer and seems to have a proper car park. Piekna duża plaża mnóstwo miejsca do zaparkowania ...jeśli nie masz ochoty popływać na swietna na długi spacer lubc poprostu popatrz na serferów We had a fantastic day out at Rossnowlagh Beach. It's a truly magnificent, sprawling stretch of golden sand that seems to go on for miles. It’s perfect for long walks, great for beginner surfers, and ideal for families to spread out and enjoy the space. The main draw for many is the convenience of being able to drive directly onto the beach. However, this comes with a major word of caution. You absolutely MUST be aware of the high tide. We saw so many cars get caught by the incoming water. People park, go for a long walk, and come back to find their vehicle partially submerged. It seems to be a very regular occurrence and can quickly ruin a perfect day. Our advice: check the tide times before you go, park as high up the as possible near the dunes, and keep an eye on the sea. That one significant issue aside, the is wonderful. The atmosphere is brilliant, and the views are spectacular. It’s a clean and well-loved spot. It narrowly misses out on 5 stars purely because of the car parking risk. Definitely recommend a visit, just be smart about where you leave your car! Great beach. busy in a good day with lots of cars parked on the actual itself. Its an amazing to visit. When the weather is good the view is next level. One of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. Would highly recommend recommend people to visit. Also its a lovely to take a walk on so refreshing and relaxing. Ein sehr, sehr schöner Strand. Sehr weitläufig There are rats and mice running around the rocks below surfers bar, beware Wunderschöner Strand – sauber, ruhig und perfekt zum Spazieren oder Surfen. Great place to walk regardless of the weather though it helps if it's not lashing rain. On a clear day you can see Ben Bulben in Sligo and right across Donegal bay. There's a coffee kiosk opposite the hotel with the best brownies. And please people, bring your litter home or put it in the bins provided ☺️ Be careful with your gear and equipment here!!! I have had Surfboards/ wetsuits stolen from my van on 3 separate occasions now!! Its the only spot in the whole of the country that I have had stuff stolen!!!
