This is a very nice aquatic facility. We found a friend desk staff very friendly and helpful. There are two short course pools, including one with a ramp entrance, and a larger long course pool. The facility is hidden off the main drag, and is modern and offers classe for various aquatic activities. Parking can be tight. Worth it, even if you are just visiting the area, if you are a serious swimmer and need a real facility to train at. It will cost about 8 euros for the membership card and you can add money to it from there for as many swims as you want to take. If you are visiting from another country, you will need your passport to complete the enrollment to be able to swim (if you are visiting from another country with a child who wants to swim, you will need your passport as well as your child's passport, even if it is just your child swimming). Very good and facilities. Went late afternoon - normally peak hour - and still had my own lane even with club training at the same time. Friendly ladies at the counter and fair prices (about 2€/entrance). If you plan to go only once, know that there’s a fee of 8€ for yearly insurance you’ll have to pay regardless. Very good, clean installations. Helpful and friendly staff Closed in August. Complete gym with modern equipment, but a little crowded midday. First visit will cost annual card 9€+ session credit 5€ = 14€ per person (including children). Credit is consumed per session at varying rate according to age and entry time. 5€ good for several sessions. Gym and access and credit are separate. The website fails to be updated. Closed a few days over the festival but nothing posted. Arrived to find it closed yesterday again. Notices on door fail to say the days it’s closed! Jacuzzi too cold. Or waiting for repair. The Turkish bath/steam room still waiting for a part ( 5 months)Otherwise, it is great value and sensible to have insurance per individual and different rates per time of day. Clean no matter what time you go. They don't like foreigners here, detected more than a little racism No water from the shower. Sauna door does not close at all. Most lockable dressing room doors broken. But decent pool, good for swimming. Disappointing that there are no day passes. Doesn't mention anything about this or the need for an annual membership on the website. Waste of a trip to find this out on arrival. You can visit as a tourist but you cannot pay for one session it is only worth it if you are going to use several times. You have to become a member which covers insurance at €7.73 a year. You will need ID. Then you have to pay for the with a credit card minimum charge is €5. Then each time you visit €1.80 is deducted from your credit. Didn't check here as it wasn't worth it for me but usually in Portugal you also need a cap and shoes/flip flops. Photos of look great! Not set up for tourists or a drop-in swim. Visitors have to buy annual insurance, they only accept cash or ‘local’ credit card, must have a swim cap, passport and fill out a bunch of paperwork just to use the for a few hours. After an hour of trying and having to taxi back home to get passports we gave up. And that was after going the day before to find a note on the door they were randomly closed for maintenance. Cool - spent over $45 euros taking Ubers there and back multiple times and didn’t even use it.
