Wow, what an entrance, even before we started our softsoftplay we were having fun, the entrance had shells on the walls, fish tanks and of flowers hanging down from the ceiling, oh AND a train that ran around the shop which my son loved. Once in we were greeted and had a lovely warm welcome from all the staff. The place was filled with of ceiling decor, which I couldnt take my eyes off, so many things to see even for me let alone my 10month old son..hehe. So many things to do, see and play, what a choice, where to go first..absolutely amazing! I've been to a good few softplays and most have restricted rules but here at Playtrain the rules are relaxed. The cafe was lovely, to choose from and had a sweet shop vibe to it. My husband and I really enjoyed it here, definitely come back, I highly recommend this softplay for all ages. Fantastic place for pre-school children. Our Grandson’s (4&2yrs) had a here yesterday (July 25). There is a charge for carers / parents (only 3.70 peak times). Removing this charge may encourage more purchases of food from the canteen which was little used during our visit. My son loves it here. There is plenty to do - softplay, climbing, ball pit, interactive games, sit ons, sensory and role areas. Best for aged 2-7, but even older would have fun here. The cafe is decent too, and the are very friendly. Feels suitably warm. Parking is a bit tight, but we always find space. If I could make any recommendations, it would be to have fewer tables as they are hardly used and it's difficult to pass between them. I would also like to see restocking of the role areas, e.g. there are hardly any food items in the shop, even at the beginning of the session. Friendly staff, clean and bathroom facilities, attention to detail. A brilliant place to go when you have young as you can easily see all of the from the seating areas. Sensory for babies and too. Can’t recommend highly enough. We will be back! What an amazing space for young children! A little of everything to keep all ages entertained. Clean too! Absolutely love the bathroom.. that alone is worth a visit 😂. Been to so many different centres over the last 15 years. This has to be the only one I've seen so happy and inviting and helpful! They really are an asset to Playtrain. Highly recommended! A really place for a toddler to expand their energy, we have been here twice and love the space, interactive-ness of some of the displays and coffee is not too bad as well. Need to make a booking and come on or else all the parking goes! place for young children. Their attention to detail is amazing. The are nice and helpful. The role possibilities are impossible to exhaust in an hour and a half, so there will be no signs of boredom. The only problem is you'll get asked to come back again and again :) So we went there today, with a very upset little boy from the start and Liz was INCREDIBLE with Noah. She made him at easy with bubbles & a puppet and she was so understanding with Noah needs. Such a friendly woman, she checked in with us and just made it a wonderful time. It’s an awesome place, so much to do. The best part is the sensory room 🩵. I would 💯 recommend this place to anyone, it’s just an amazing atmosphere. Everything is beautiful in there, so much to do as well! Wish it was closer to home 💕. The owner is lovely lady aswell. Go and check it out 🥰 I went yesterday with my son and grandaughter. there were far too many tables and chairs couldn't move. In the photo on website there's fewer and spaced out. They only let you in certain amount at a and 4 tables with 4 chairs not occupied if they took them away would be much better. However grandaughter enjoyed herself there but please consider removing a few tables and chairs they are not required One of the best plays you can go to. It has updated itself constantly and would highly recommend it to all parents to take their kids ere Rate this very highly as controlled numbers so doesn't feel too overwhelming. to engage the kids, more than just the normal hype of a as it had role and of other nooks & crannies with more things to with Playtrain is a place to visit! Clean, the equipment is quality and clearly maintained to a high standard. A huge selection of different things for of all ages and abilities to use, including a fantastic sensory space and for imaginative play. are very kind, informative and inviting. Food is delicious and reasonably priced, and portions are a size. Toilets are clean and provide changing tables, antibacterial wipes and nappy sacks, as well as stools, small toilet seats and a low sink for younger to use the toilet independently, and even a small playpen. There's heating, ceiling fans and a CCTV screen near the cafe seating that shows the different so you can keep an eye on your without needing to leave your seat. There's a saftey gate by the reception that is watched by to ensure that can't leave without a parent, so it feels very secure and safe. Front doors opened exactly at the the session starts, so no need to wait long at all to enter, and they baby shark to tell parents that the session is coming to an end, which we found fun and helpful. Highly recommend visiting! My 3 year old son loves Playtrain and is always asking to go, he particularly loves the new interactive ball wall. To be fair as a parent it is one of the best plays we have been too, it’s not massive so he is able to explore independently but big enough and with of different sections to keep him more than entertained. Even if a session is fully booked it never feels overly busy which is nice. All the are friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced. Only constructive feedback i’d give is the bathroom is in need of some tlc and its always freezing so some heating wouldn’t go a miss but all in all our favourite play. Absolutely Incredible Kids' & in High Wycombe! This is by far one of the best and most well-thought-out and I’ve ever visited! The space is huge, ensuring that kids stay engaged and entertained for the full 1.5-hour session. There are countless toys and themed zones, making every visit an adventure. What makes this place truly unique is the variety of immersive areas. There are huge stables with horses to ride, a police station, a shop, a restaurant, a vet, and even a caravan! Kids can also enjoy a picnic bench area, a sensory room, and a street with scooters and bikes, complete with traffic lights to help them learn about road safety. Everything is beautifully designed with trees, fruits, and animals around, creating a magical, interactive environment. One of the highlights is the electric scooters, which are charged per session—my child absolutely loved them! For younger children, there’s a separate baby with baby walkers, which is perfect if you have two kids. You can easily move around with your older child while keeping your little one entertained and safe. The café is another fantastic feature, offering coffee, sweets, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options for both parents and kids. It’s the perfect place to relax while the little ones play. What truly sets this place apart is the thoughtful design and spaciousness. Unlike many overcrowded areas, this one has limited bookings, ensuring that every child has enough room to freely. I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for an incredible experience. It’s a must-visit and, without a doubt, one of the best children’s entertainment venues I’ve ever found! I had the pleasure of visiting Playtrain recently, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the pristine cleanliness of the entire area. Everything was spotless, which immediately gave me peace of mind knowing my little ones could safely explore and play. The were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make sure everyone had a time. They truly made our experience enjoyable and stress-free. Another unexpected highlight was the coffee! Not only was it delicious, but the coffee art was absolutely stunning – it felt like a treat in every cup. As for the activities, there’s so much to do! The are creatively designed with endless options to keep kids entertained, from climbing structures to interactive games. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making Playtrain both fun and educational for children. Overall, Playtrain is a fantastic destination for families. Clean, welcoming, and full of exciting things to do – we’ll definitely be returning! A lovely play. It gives you a homie feeling unlike the chain ones. Always fully booked. good size inside. not so large that you cannot find your kid. Playtrain is such a lovely play! There’s a wide variety of different activities, like role-play, a ball pit, ride-along tractors and animals, etc. The decor is really engaging for young children, with of things to look at all over the walls and ceilings. The are so friendly and happy to help, and with the kids! There’s a wide range of food, including vegan options. It’s always really clean inside too. My daughter always has the best time!
