Magnificent gardens. Planned carefully with attention to the little details... The entrance is through the and at the exit there is a book shop and café. And of course, the white peacocks... A stunning Baroque that captivates visitors with its meticulously arranged terraces, vibrant floral displays, and classical sculptures. Nestled on Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore, this showcases a harmonious blend of art and nature, offering breathtaking views over the lake. The intricate design, featuring exotic plants and carefully manicured hedges, creates a serene atmosphere perfect for leisurely strolls. As part of the historic Palazzo Borromeo estate, the reflects the opulence of 17th-century Italy and is a must-visit for anyone exploring the Borromean Islands. A truly enchanting and wonderful place. The are beautifully arranged with fountains, colorful flowers, and peacocks freely roaming, adding a special touch. The historic with its Baroque design is also worth visiting. A peaceful and unique experience for nature and history lovers, highly recommended. Isla Bella is a great tour. The and the are marvelous. Also some nice shops. Such a dreamy spot! The are lush, elegant, and full of surprises around every corner—statues, terraces, fountains, and peacocks just roaming around like they own the place. It’s not huge, but every inch feels thoughtfully designed. The views over Lake Maggiore make it even more magical. Definitely one of the highlights of the island. Gorgeous grounds with a huge variety of flora and fauna. Fruit trees, beautiful flowers, and amazing sculptured really peak your senses. The warm breeze carries on it fragrances from all over the garden. Very peaceful. Loved it. .A magnificent in the Baroque style. The public are very well maintained, the view is breathtaking. I loved it, but it's too expensive to get 5 stars. However, if you are visiting the area it's a "must see" place. Lovely café. Beautiful island, villa and Botanic Garden. Worth sightseeing. Stay 1.5 hour A truly enchanting and wonderful place. The are beautifully arranged with fountains, colorful flowers, and peacocks freely roaming, adding a special touch. The historic with its Baroque design is also worth visiting. A peaceful and unique experience for nature and history lovers, highly recommended. Absolutely spectacular accessible through the palace. Completely breathtaking in its beauty. Adorned with statues and carvings and full of exotic plants in prime condition. The houseplant greenhouse is great too, don't rush through, take a moment to look up and appreciate the scale of the plants Beautiful and special place that you must see. It's not free, ticket for single person is 20€ (castle and gardens) but it's worth every penny. 3rd time coming here when visiting Italy. One of my favourite places in the world. Maybe because was one of the first places a saw when traveling alone. I will for sure come back again. Stunning and are a must for visitors to Stresa. Reasonable cost for small boat to the 3 islands . Make a day of it visiting all three. You won't be disappointed. If you leave at around 10am, you will get over to your first island before it gets too busy. Huge and magnificent. The wasn't that interesting to me, except for the amazing views of the lake, the grottos which were very unique and impressive, and the story about Napoleon which was a juicy piece of gossip. The on the other hand are breathtaking. A must see in my opinion. The and the are beautiful. Sadly, this place is privately owned so you do need to pay quite the amount to get in, but there is plenty to see and explore around the property. Most beautiful place in the world. If you’re looking for somewhere to propose, it’s here! Lovely gardens. Wildlife, and statues. Views also amazing x Cool island, there is a museum and an incredible garden, children will be very happy. In the there is a fountain with statues, a labyrinth of bushes, but most importantly - snow-white peacocks, which often open their tails and walk directly in front of you, very tame, there is also a poultry house with parrots, namely about 30 Lovebirds. The view from the island is spectacular.
