A grat natural park, well preserved and very clean. The scenery is fantastic and the trails (well marked) are easy to medium to climb. Clean, drinkable water resources are available too. Highly recommended for all kind of enthusiasts! Beautiful rocky top giving you a large panorama of the surrounding region , from the main road in the city of Borsa , right about the hospital , there would be a narrow paved road leading up the hill ( about 5-10 minutes drive ) , you can leave the car where asphalt ends or at the nearby monastery , from there there will be a trail marked with a blue stripe , it would take about 5 hours to the top with a medium pace with short stops , halfway up there's a small glacial like in the shape of Romania , the trail itself is not very difficult although is has some tricky parts and you need some extra attention while it's covered by snow , appropriate footwear , clothing , water and food supply is strongly adviced , late winter/early spring is especially dangerous because of the avalanche risk , camping and fired is allowed in designated spaces ( and there are some pretty scenic once ) , at the top there's a shelter , but it's rather an last resort and I wouldn't recommend anyone staying there ( very dirty ) Excellent National Park A beautiful dayhike from Borsa. In nice weather the view is astonishing Impresionant! Amazing hike 🤩 Demanding ascent, but accessible for 7+ years old children. Clean area, rocky after you pass over Iezer Lake. Lots of hikers during weekend. A nice day can be spent there. Beautiful natural park... Awesome cannot begin to describe the beauty of this place. The view is simply breath taking. You start the journey in the small town of Borsa, and go up and down on its trek filled hills. When you begin to go up the mountain, you can see the entire town and all the green surrounding it. It you go in the late summer and beginning of autumn you can eat a lot of blueberries, to give you extra energy for the road. The higher you reach, the more amazing the view becomes. Any enthusiasts should visit this place. Before you reach the top, there is a cabin (where, if you ask nicely, you can have a hot meal). Then, after some 400m, you reach a beautiful, but very cold lake. It is said that it has no bottom, and it connects with the Black Sea. Then you reach the peak. When I went there it was covered in mist, so I couldn't take any pictures. Overall, any willing person should try to visit this natural wonder. One of the most magnificent places I've ever seen! Amazing view from the peak. Beautiful lake near the peak. Lovely experience. Definitely worth to see this place. The view is amazing. The trail is marked and is easy to climb. It takes 5 hours to climb and 3 hours to go down. Astonishingly beautiful at the top. The first few hours are a slog though: a winding, uncomfortable vehicle track through fairly boring forest. Then you emerge into the open and the hard work is so worth it. Once you reach the lake it isn't much further to the peak. There are amazing views once you get to the ridge, just after mountain. No special equipment needed in summer and straightforward paths, if very hard on the legs and lungs. Pietrosul Rodnei e muntele unde cerul îmbrățișează crestele. Norii te însoțesc ca prieteni de drum, iar liniștea albastră aduce pace sufletului. Aici simți că ești mai aproape de divinitate. Am urcat singur și a fost destul de greu până in vârf dar sa meritat fiecare pas care l-am făcut Foarte fain Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
