Cableway working flawless with decent parking near the bottom station. Views from upper stations are breathtaking. Unfortunately, the snow was watering down on the bottom side of the skitrail, so we used just the upper side of the slope (between middlepoint and top station). Visited the place in March 2024. The skiresort should be extended to the nearby peaks, in my opinion. Nice course, with a level difference of 777 meters (funny number, like the batteries 🤣) it is a must see when in Borșa, Maramureș. The prices are 45 lei for an adult (one way up and one way down) and 35 lei for a child (under 12 years old). Definitely must descend at the intermediary station (on the way up) and take a 400 m walk to the artificial lake. There are plenty of parking spaces (in the summer), especially if you choose the first road up, not exactly the one where it is written "Telegondola". 5 star and highly recomended It was a good experience. You can also stop at the first stop to see the lake. You'll need to walk about 30 minutes, but it's worth it. After that, you can continue and take another gondola ride up to the top. It's good to bring with you a hoodie or a jacket because it's quite windy. You also must try the wild blueberries. These are delicious. The fee for the tickets is 40 lei per person. You can park your car in the nearest car park ( and pay for it) or park your car near the main street and walk from there to the gondola rides. Beautiful views and places, pricey drinks, and food, but that is to be expected. However, Ski slopes partially misleading on the website. 'Blue' beginner friendly track is constantly raced through advanced skiers, not uncommon in any place but again beware. Additionally, it is my opinion that the beginner-friendly track is not entirely beginner friendly. And I mean really beginner. Obviously, I shouldn't have gone there if I wanted a kiddie track to practice my pizza form, but the website doesn't clarify how the track looks and feels. Considering the interactive nature of the owners, I would suggest a video made of both tracks to give people an idea of whether their skill level is appropriate for their offerings. After all, it is advertised as an Olympic Ski Track.
