Amazing scenery and beautiful weather on the day we walked it. The parking near to the is small and the road very tight . In peak times it would be best to park before the road leading down to the as it will make leaving later on much easier. Beautiful and relaxing. Not a highly visited spot for some peace and quiet. It's quite rocky here but when the tide is out, it reveals some sand underfoot for swimming! Beautiful coast with caves along the left hand side. Great to explore at very low tide. Lovely secluded .very quiet and beautiful fo a summer swim. Very sheltered from the open sea. Surrounded by cliffs and wonderful countryside accessible only by a narrow road or a walking trail. Beautiful place for a picnic and a swim for the brave! Worth the walk! Nice small beach with cliff walk and beautiful view Not a lover of Irish Beaches during the summer months as access is always near impossible when the weather is good as everyone heads to the Beach, so i tend to go wandering during the off season where you`re always guaranteed to have the place to yourself. Visited this place while the Girlfriend was doing a Communion shoot. Just me and the little fella, and one die hard swimmer who braved the cold weather for a dip in the sea. A wonderful place for rest and relaxation for the whole family and friends. No parking but great for swimming A cool place to find and hike. The views are amazing When it comes to my experience at Rathmoylan it was a good one to be honest. The itself is a small one and if your into not alot of people being at the beach then you may want to consider this beach. My experience with the water was cold one.. i.e the water was cold and I mean c o l d, and this is taking into account it was in the high twenties. The Sand is nice some rocks in the middle. If you want to sit in the sand you can and if you want a shady rock area to sit on they have that too. Overall Rathmoylan is a very nice place and worth looking into. Ciao! Sundown is golden hour Pretty cool! Not much parking space, And a very narrow trail. But the view is great! Calm sea, small bay Lovely small about 6km south of dunmore east. I tend to go there during the week as there is a narrow road down to the and can be busy on weekends with cars parked on one side.lovely for A swim when tide is a good bit out (sandy) when tide is high lot of rocks in water Wonderful walk with great swimming opportunities on the way ... What more van over want for? Thanks to the volunteers who maintain the path!
