Great in the area, they have menus in multiple languages ready to go (which is much appreciated!). The itself was of an impressive standard. I have had better from a small Italian family place (for comparison's sake) but this was really good. I tried their Saporita special which was delicious with its ricotta. Room for improvement: Perfect your dough recipe, the dough is already great but can be taken even further. The building itself was quite cramped and the seating was a wooden bench, I was afraid of breaking the bench! The menu's lamination was coming off the page, affecting its readability somewhat. The absolute best I've had outside of Italy was Paro's Italian Food in London NW9 6AG, perhaps contact them for tips? I'm sure they'd be happy to share expertise!? Great takeout/delivery pizza, loved by people in the American base nearby. Opens only evening to night (18:00-22:00) but definitely worth to try. I like Savoyarde the best! Usually I'm a huge fan of Saporita but I was disappointed tonight. I called to place an order and was hung up on. Fair enough, sometimes accidents happen and calls drop. After a bit I tried calling back (busy friday night with everything going on) and got through. I don't speak a whole lot of french but that's normally not an issue here. However, after requesting an order for pick up, I again heard some discussion and was then hung up on. Not sure what's going on with that and I still really enjoy their and usually order from them once a week but that was really surprising. I'll update this review in the future if I try them again. Stopped there in a hurry on our way to pick up our dogs, I was just asking if they had some slices already made but they actually made a whole in 5 minutes!! Awesome people and super good ! Having been to Pizzaria Saporita many times, and knowing the owner, I can honestly say I'm very disappointed in the service. Most recently, was told it will take 45 minutes tops to deliver onto Chievres...1:30 minutes later, no delivery. When they finally did arrive, the delivery man had no change and took my 20 Euros for a 10.5 Euro bill, got in his car, and left. Awful experience. Pizza: delicious Staff: even better Just moved to Belgium from the states and though I’ve been practicing French, I’m no where near conversational. The staff was so friendly and even stroke up conversation. I wish I got the gentleman’s name but, needless to say, we will be coming back frequently. Great place right off base. You can tell that they do use fresh ingredients. They do speak really good English, but I would recommend going in person just to make sure your order is placed right. They don't cut the but I'm sure you'd have to ask for it cut. Very friendly it's just covid affecting things like usual. Ask for the English menu.
