Excape: Exmouth Escape Rooms

This was the best Escape Room. Very cleverly designed. We had such a great time. Our host "William" or was it Dan got the interaction spot on. We are recommending to all our friends. We have done 2 other experiences : E=MC2 and The Game's afoot. All excellent but "The House of Clues" was our favourite Absolutely incredible escape experience! We have done many many escape rooms and the House of Clues is without a doubt the best! Obviously don’t want to give any spoilers but the detail and engineering within each is truly brilliant. Dan (or the loyal butler) is a fabulous game master and is the perfect level of helpful and maintains his character throughout to keep you immersed in the game. I cannot recommend Excape enough! This was our first experience with them and we have already rebooked for another room! ❤️🔍🕵️‍♀️ We have played multiple Escape Rooms and Excape was easily the most personal experience we have had to date! Dan was an exceptional and enthusiastic games master who brought the characters and themes to life. The e=mc scared was challenging and enjoyable, and the House of Clues game was the most immersive escape we’ve done, it made us feel like kids playing real life Cluedo! Thank you Dan, we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area! Helen was an amazing host. We played the Sherlock game and it was so much fun! As parents of a very little boy, it was the first date day we had together on our own and we enjoyed every minute.. we didn't have time to worry about him and our brains were so busy! What fantastic imagination and creativity you both have. Hopefully we can visit again soon! We really enjoyed doing the Sherlock Holmes today. The game master was very friendly and helpful and the itself was brilliantly themed. The puzzles were well thought out and very unique. Overall, one of the best rooms I've done. The best designed escape I have ever seen. Each has a combination of some thirty of clever and classic puzzles, with enough of them able to be done side by side for everyone to have something to do, as well as a real sense of story and progression amidst a great set. All run by lovely people who really care about what they're doing. My only regret is forgetting to review this place for three months. If you consider yourself a fan of escape rooms this is one you have to try. Absolutely amazing experience for my husband’s birthday. It was done so professionally. So much fun and laughter with lots of clues to solve. We loved it! Thank you so much! We visited on Saturday for a Hen do. It was absolutely brilliant!! From start to finish there were surprises around the corner. The butler gave gentle hints every now and again and it was the perfect amount of interaction, while letting your team work it out. I would absolutely recommend The House of Clues for a fun evening.
