What a getaway location. Somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Super location, slightly cut off by a 5 minute gravel road. In the middle of the countryside a wonderful area with tents and cabins. There is also a pool. The owner also runs his own restaurant with very generous portions. It was fun. In about 20 minutes on foot you are on a small stone beach which is as good as private as boats cannot come here. I had a tent for the night. This was and still very pleasant despite the heat. Don’t expect the standard dining experience - the menu is small, but designed to highlight the best local produce. The setting and atmosphere can’t be beat. Make sure to bring cash and take care on the gravel road. The accommodation is fresh and comfortable - the perfect place to unwind and switch off. Gutes Essen. location, right on top of a hill surrounded by nature with an view over the sea. We went there on a Friday, for the fish menu. With your choice you have 1 seabream and 'counted' pieces of Vegetable: we were in 4 and we had each 1 slice of zucchini, 1 slice of paprika and few potatoes. Although the quality was great, we would have expected at least more vegetables ( not actually counted pieces) and at least some prawns or calamari, not just 1 fish each. (ok small/ medium size). The experience was overall as the place is really nice and intimate, and staff friendly. However I would perhaps suggest to increase the size of the portion. I reccomend if you want to spend a special evening as it is very Different from any other location on the island. Fantastic experience Good food, beutifull views. You need reservation to see animalsand eat food from menu. But view is breathtaking. Wir waren mit 6 Personen im Agroturizam Dvori Svetog Jurja und haben Peka gegessen. Grundsätzlich war das Essen lecker und die Atmosphäre sehr schön – man merkt, dass hier traditionell gekocht wird. Allerdings hat uns das Verhältnis von Preis / Leistung irritiert. Die Peka wurde pro Person berechnet, was zwar üblich ist, aber wir bekamen eine gemeinsame Schüssel mit etwas Gemüse (Kartoffeln, Zucchini, Möhren, Zwiebeln) und darauf verschiedene Fleischstücke. Leider bestand das Fleisch größtenteils aus Knochen und Fett, die Menge wirkte im Verhältnis zum Preis eher überschaubar. Auch die Vorspeise (ein Teller mit Schinken, Käse und Oliven) wurde pro Kopf abgerechnet - am Ende hat das fast 50 € gekostet. Insgesamt zahlten wir zu sechst 230 €, was für ein bisschen Gemüse und wenig Fleisch sehr teuer wirkt. Natürlich erwarte ich nicht so einen typischen „Touri-Teller“, wo Schlemmerer kiloweise Fleischberge mit Pommes verdrücken. Das ist nicht mein Anspruch. Aber bei einem Gericht wie Peka erwarte ich ein gutes Gleichgewicht von Fleisch und Gemüse – und das war hier nicht gegeben. Wenn man zudem bedenkt, welchen traditionellen Hintergrund Peka hat – nämlich ein ehrliches, bäuerliches Familiengericht, das in Kroatien für Gemeinschaft und Bodenständigkeit steht – dann passt der hohe Preis noch weniger zum Charakter des Gerichts. Fazit: Leckeres Essen in schöner Umgebung, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Zalig om te komen,zowel voor de schoonheid ,de vriendelijkheid en het lekkere eten. Een echte aanrader !! The female waiters were extremely rude all the time and made us want to leave the restaurant already after finishing with first course. Do not recommend to families with children and gourmets. We had our wedding there last summer. The owners and their staff are very friendly. The food is legendary. Our guests were also amazed. My girlfriend and i stayed in a glamping tent for a week. Let me tell you that it was one of the best experiences we’ve had so far! Let me first start of with The Robert (owner) and his wife. They where such a warm couple, and greeted us with open arms. Every question we had they went and took care of it with pleasure. If you walked into them at the beautiful terrain they where always down for a chat! And if they weren’t there, there was always poempie (the dog) who you could talk to ;) The tents are if you just want to get back to nature for a little bit. It’s a really nice balance between comfort and off grid. The breakfast was also really nice and felt very personal! You had lots of different options and i am sure that they will take care of you if you have any allergies. The pool was very nice too! It’s that you could lay on you’re sun bed while looking at a million dollar view! Everything was kept very simple and clean. We also stayed for dinner on Wednesday (meatday). It was a very cozy small dinner with delicious veggies and meat. I usually never leave reviews but i just had to this time.. Just to make sure that everyone who reads this will book a stay too. Trust us it’s worth it!
