There is hot/cold food sold there. There are lots of paths to choose, but it doesn't matter as they all bring you back to the car park. It isn't a long walk (15 mins) so take a stroll and stop. On one route there was a lake full of ducks. The other route goes through the wood. Nice walk in the with a pond, river and ducks. Lovely on a warm day. Nice little cafe near the large car park where I treated the family to an ice cream. I would give it 5 stars if inconsiderate people put the rubbish and dog poo in the bin instead of being thrown in the woods. Always good fun walking around the place, added with bike meets on Sundays and Wednesday nights. First time visiting and it was lovely, didn't try the little cafe but have been informed it is great value, the walks are beautiful and wildlife is in abundance, parking is free Toilets and small cafe at car park. Massive with a few different trails / routes throughout the woods. There's lots of picnic benches in the main area near the 'entrance.' Small lakes or rivers inside the with benches / logs etc to get to the other side. lots of good fun to be had. Many of the trees are growling freely as well as some more maintained around the paths and trails. Many places to ventur into the wild . All in all a Wonderful , The litter bins could do with being emptied more regularly as are often overflowing from peoples picnics etc. Brilliant day out for all the family, plenty of space to wander and adventure through the or if you want to cycle round for a few hours, there are main paths suitable for younger keen cyclists, as well as off the beaten track where it feels more like MTB than leisurely cycling. Parking is ample but be wary of motorcycles. It is a hotspot for motorbike gatherings. We will be visiting again for sure. An amazing place to take the kids and the dogs. Kids had an adventure exploring and being off screens and the dog was in his element wandering around. The little cafe sells food. Hot drink, cold drinks and ice cream. Even have ice cream for dogs which was fantastic. Lots a motorbikes as well which the kids loved.
