This is a magnificent of plants growing at high altitude, not only in Switzerland. Most interestingly, there is a section devoted to carnivore plants. The layout of this is exemplary and the view from the over the lake is beautiful. There is a separate parking for visitors which is only a few hundred meters away. The entrance fee, at least for older folks is very modest and you should spend at least half a day here. Unfortunately, I visited late in the season, end of August 2025, when flowers are scarce. However, there are still lots of insects sucking the nectar out of what is left of flowers so if you are into photography you have lots of discoveries to make. Outstanding! First class botanical alpine garden. Nice yo see names of what we saw hiking the TMB. Great rest day activity. Magnifique très beaux Delightful quiet place. Very well set up, several thousands alpine plants from Europe, Asia etc. Very good information. Very much worthwhile a visit. Beautiful Alpine 🪴 A real hidden gem of the mountains, a perfect stop in a stunning village setting. The has no onsite parking, there is parking at the bottom of the ski lifts on the edge of the village and it’s signposted via a short scenic path. The is set on the side of the hill/mountain so access is limited to only visitors on foot, the paths are quite steep and narrow but you can also enjoy the views of the from the flat lower section of you want. In addition to the is a forest section and benches with tables that can be used for picnics. We stayed overnight in the chalet - magical place! Super! A nice 30 minutes spent wandering around a tranquil garden. Nothing spectacular but only cheap and some nice views. Gorgeous and large variety of plants. We enjoyed walking through, and the free admission was greatly appreciated. This was a nice stop along the TMB since we were staying overnight in Champex-Lac. Beautiful botanical gardens! Perfect view over the lake. You can buy your favourite plant in the gift shop! Lovely spot, free entry with a pass de St Bernard. I quite liked the little ponds, I saw a massive dragonfly. What a paradise! Thanks to all who made an effort to create it.
