DO NOT GO! ❌ Before you enter the woods be sure to see the ruins of an old church, across from the servo, there is plenty of parking. Stunning area to go for a leisurely stroll underneath majestic big trees. Keep an eye out for the fancy tomb! Amazing place for a casual stroll in the woods. Very safe and paths are well defined to make sure you don't get lost. Lovely walk close to Athenry Lovely walking spot. It’s still recovering from the damage brought on by Storm Éowyn, so some of the walking loops are closed but it’s a calm and gorgeous place, nevertheless Great for a dog walk. And Ireland is slowly getting more dog friendly. More places are realising they are missing out on the dog owner's disposable income. It's a very lovely short and easy walking trail.
