Please note that this review relates to the Navigazione services and not to Bellagio itself. Booking upfront and online might be a good option but you need a plan - what, where and when precisely you want to visit on the lake. Add some buffer time on top as the ferries tend to be not super punctual. Be attentive regarding the gates as not all apply to Navigazione and especially in Bellagio it could get confusing as there is one a little bit aside, you can easily miss it! The to Como from bellgio cost 18 euro it's not cheap but it's 40 min and indoor and the.scenes were amazing This was the most beautiful "mundane" public transportation experience I have ever seen. The has several stops and is very slow paced so with a tour guide, you can really enjoy the views. Even without a guided tour, the views are so incredible and awe-inspiring that a few hours on the is very therapeutic. Highly recommended for a more relaxed and laid back take on Lake Como. The one and only Bellagio! The beauty. The grace. The ambiance. The stores. The restaurants. The local people. The scenery. The wonderful smells. The food. The pastries. The streets. The architect. The lake. Nothing compares! You can not visit and truly experience Italy without paying a visit to Lago Di Como Bellagio!! 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 Truly MAGNIFICENT. Gave the Bellagio > Como fast (~45min) a shot for Sunday morning July 6th. Bellagio ticket office opened around 7.30am (supposedly 20mins before the 1st which was 7.50am). Went to ticket counter around 7.25am and there was 5 people in to buy and 1 person in for 1st - was a breeze! Fair warning tho when we reached Como, there was probably ~75 people in there to get on to Bellagio. service lacks any management. When buying a ticket from Bellagio to Como we were asked to choose a departure time from the list. We picked the 15:50 and were in by 15:25. However the boat was well over capacity half way through the line, and we could not board. The remaining people in scrambled to the next pier to up for the 16:45. We asked if a refund was possible but were declined. We cut our loses and caught the C30 bus instead for less than 5euros. It comes approximately hourly and takes about an hour. It is twice as fast as the regular and you still drive along the coast. Selling more than can be catered to is a scam Such a convenience to have the available to get around Lake Como. We took the car once and went by foot a few trips. Easy to buy and navigate the schedule. They seem to do a great job of keeping the schedule on time as well. Plenty of areas above to sit and keep warm if it's a windy day. Breathtaking place a must visit just for 10 euro / 1:30 h trip (or the express option is 15 euro / 45 minutes) with a boat from Como (or any other city on the Lake Come). The views from the boat trip are very nice if are lucky to get the weather nice. Shocking Service – Avoid Navigazione Laghi service at All Costs! The service on Lake Como is an absolute disgrace. When we arrived in Varenna, the chaos was unbelievable. One person working in the ticket office, a single that snaked endlessly, and absolutely no clear signage to help anyone. It took 1.5 hours just to get onto a to Bellagio. Trying to buy online? Forget it — always “sold out.” It gets worse. Traveling from Bellagio to Como, the times were wrong, online unavailable again, and we were forced to up for ages just to buy a one-way ticket (they refused to sell returns). In Como, the situation was even more pathetic — the queue stretched for kilometres and then a hand-written sign announced “all sold out” for Bellagio and Varenna. No warning, no alternatives, nothing. We were left stranded and had to pay €95 for a taxi back to Bellagio. This level of service would be a joke if it wasn’t so expensive and stressful. And this isn’t even peak season yet! Do yourself a favour — avoid Navigazione Laghi. Plan alternative transport if you want to actually enjoy your trip. Bellagio is a really beautiful town but the service was a disaster! Easily solved by (1) departures board list stops en route not just destinations (2) include Pier number so we know which queue to join (3) segregate queues with ropes. Sadly none of these were in place causing mass confusion & major stress to 100s of tourists trying to figure out where to queue. We also felt sorry for the stressed out staff bombarded with questions! Although there are printed timetables, they are a bit confusing and it makes us difficult to plan. The queues were ridiculously chaotic, people were jumping the queues. Some passengers complained but the staff ignored them. Bellagio is such a beautiful quaint area. The little shops dotted all around will have you busy.
