Very hilly, but footpaths are tarmaced and there is a lot of grass, some trees, a children's play area, but not a lot else. I could not find any toilets. You can walk your dogs in this park, which is a bonus, as not all parks allow this. There are dog poo bins scattered throughout the to keep the clean. There is no car parking either. So for that reason, it's only 4 stars. The dog waste, and other bins, need emptying more often. The brambles encroaching on footpaths need regular attention too. And a bench, or two, by the lake would be nice. Otherwise, the extended would merit more stars. It is a very nice very tidy and lots for the children to play on Great place to walk dogs, mostly friendly dogs & owners, it could do with a shelter though, for when you get caught in the rain. It has gone downhill though, since bloody useless, awful Norse took over the upkeep of the park. They can't be bothered to do a damn thing, even when you call them to tell them about a problem. Mostly looks good apart from the occasional signs of inconsiderate people leaving their rubbish. Overall it is a pleasant green space to go for a walk along side the brook. You can walk along the path from the town centre through Croyland gardens, onto Croyland to the outskirts of the town. Very pleasant Could do with being more toddler friendly some sort shade item for them too . My boy just starting to learn its our local one but not toddler friendly really Bins are full over flowing attracting flies Spacious and well cared for park. It was even more wonderfully with the Wellingborough party weekend with lots of peoples abd fun things for kida and adults. Good Local park. Great for Dog walking and has multiple play areas and football pitches for the kids nothing to great but good enough for a younger kid to play for a while also good open area for electronic cars and scooters. Really fun but not five because it’s kind of busy and a lot of dogs of the lead while they are walking not like running around. Also sketchy people do bad stuff around this area. But great for dogs to run around! My grandchildren had a good time on the swing and slides. Shade from the trees protected us from the ray of the sun. The place is clean and quiet Lush green playground, the restroom provided during the festival was super clean. Croyland is a beautiful kept Always full of familys. With two Play areas, a small gated toddler area, and a open area for older children with great apperaters. There are lots of Dog Walker's, Cyclists and Runners. There is a great walk path round the whole with a river, small woodland and fishing lake to experience. There are lots of benches to have a break and recharge before finishing the whole circuit of croyland. Football pitches and Basketball courts are also available to anyone. Lots of hills and fields with tress to sit and enjoy a picnic with the family on a hot summer afternoons.. Two car parking areas are around entrance. local supermarket next to entrance for any supplies you may need. Along with the yearly Carnival, fun fair and Party in the wellingborough puts on around June/July Walk the dog here sometimes and the nearby lake is good.
