Excellent family run restaurant and bar in nice rural surroundings and small village of San Amaro. The historic stone building has been sensitively converted preserving its original features but with a modern touch with nice decoration and furniture in very spatious surroundings including range of dinning spaces and outside garden terrace. We went for the first time to try the "menu del día" which at 12€ including local D.O.Ribeiro wine was excellent value for money and the portions were generous too. The food was home cooked, fresh, well presented and tasty so well done to the chef Christina. The waiter service from Jorge was top class. He not only speaks excellent English but also Spanish and Galician as he's originally from Lisbon. He helped us with our choices and was friendly and professional throughout our meal. We also spoke to the friendly owners Antonio and Elena and were shown their excellent wine list and shop selling the same wines and gourmet products inter alia! A real discovery and hopefully they will be part of the wine route of Ribeiro. Most delicious Local food and wine. Authentic atmosphere. The only restaurant in town. Fuimos a cenar a este fantastico lugar, nos gusto mucho todo, el lugar, la comida y el trato del camarero, nos hizo sentir agusto.
