In the last 4 days I have visited cemeteries and memorials to the soldiers from England, Canada, France, Belgium, New Zealand, German as well as other Commonwealth nations, so to be able to visit the Welsh Memorial was very special. The focal point is the impressive dragon mounted on stones standing some six foot or so above the Memorial. A directional sign close to the main road informs visits that it is 327 miles to Wales. Like everywhere else very moving and thought provoking Nice little memorial remembering the Welsh who fought the war, not much red on the dragon now, but the grounds were nice and tidy when I visited.
