Museum has just re-opened after a lengthy hiatus inside the old post office which hs been renovated by Dutch super Architects Bierman Henket . Downstairs with a fascinating exhibition by Atelier NL, a 50 jubilee exhibit on the first floor . The building is wonderfully renovated, lots of it is accessible to the public without having to buy a ticket, the Cafe' on the groundfloor just awesome, the furniture by Leolux and the guides superfriendly - even if I say so myself :-) The cafe' is a a light flooded space with first class coffee - aanwinst voor Venlo ! Very nice Without the first floor exhibition the museum has almost nothing else to see. If it wasnt for the view on the top floor or the sand room, its just a bunch of sofas. Super sad to see so much empty space that could be filled with local artists or students from the area. The service was super personalized and the best one I ever had. Spectacular exhibit of Thielen.
