Picnic tables, small waterfalls at the river, comfortable parking area, easy access by road, except on the winter days with to much snow. Denk als er water had gestroomt het erg mooi was met leuke picknick plekken. De route naar de top van de Ilias staat hier zeer goed aangegeven. Auto is hier prima te parkeren en we vonden hem ook in goede staat weer terug! Beautiful spot as starting point for walks, picknick or just enjoying the waterfall and trees. We found our car with broken window after trekking as well as another one next to it, all luggage stolen. We reported to the police in Sparti and they told us it's not the first case. Trekking was beautiful, took us 8 hours. Don't park here!! They broke in in our car and stole everything. And for this parkingspot that seems to be a common problem. Trail is great but hard. All trails says 8.7 miles round trip but really it’s 11-12 miles. All up hill then all down hill. But it was nicely marked all the way to the summit and views were amazing.
