Toilet are A1 too with loos open all day and 2 outdoors loos if you're an overnighter. Definitely recommend this place. Lovely well kept the toilet and shower block is nice and modern the owners are lovely people also. Theres plenty of onsite A real hidden gem in the heart of Yorkshire. Well spaced out camping and caravanning pitches all with electric hookups. Well stocked for those looking to relax. A reasonably priced on site. Clean and well looked after toilet and shower block with pot washing facilities. For those lucky to own an electric car there is a charging point for you. The best way to book is through the website. It is possible to drive right up to many of the pegs which is a huge bonus for people with mobility issues and also in the event of sudden downpours A complex which has 10 3 dedicated for pleasure only and 3 for match and pleasure fishing. The largest lake is only for 24 hour which has to be booked in advance. The complex boasts a snack bar and tackle shop which are both reasonably priced, as well as toilet facilities. Car parking is available through out the site. The day passes are Priced at £9.00 per person which is reasonably priced It was very nice and fun there. There are lots of bigger and smaller fish, which you can catch quite easily, even if you're not an expert in fishing. My brother caught about 70 in a few hours, although we couldn't take them home, but it was fun. We have been to this campsite 4 times and we absolutely loved it. It's quiet and peaceful with wonderfully big pictures however they are not level so if you are taking caravan please make sure you bring your ramps. Toilets are ok can be a little bit grubby throughout the day however they are usually topped up with a bit of cleaning at some point. Wonderfully peaceful, very reasonably and competitively priced for what you get and for the local area. campsite, especially for fishing. Showers and toilets were very clean. Plus it was lovely and quiet. Just got back from a weekend here, big pitches, facilities, lovely ponds. does a belting brekkie, and the tackle shop is very well stocked with everything you need. Thirsk is on the doorstep for pubs, takeaways and shops for the essentials. All in all a quality few days in nice surroundings. The is lovely and and lovely to walk around with all the lakes. The breakfast from the is the best breakfast we have ever had please don't miss out on trying that. The showers and toilets are and tidy even access to a disabled toilet and shower that is fantastic to use if you have a disability. The pitches are very size and big enough for caravan, awning and car and perfect for XL size tents. The only down side is you don't get to meet the owners and there is only small amount of toilets but that doesn't affect the beautiful at all . We wasn't going to book the because we don't do so thought it would be just mainly for people here but I'm so glad we did because it's such a wonderful and close to amenities but far enough away for peace and relaxation. Thank you 👌👍 Always fished very well on ever session Took my 6 year old grandson for his first session. The staff were really helpful, friendly, and put him at ease. We were directed to the Oaks lake which was very easy and he was over the moon to catch 5 in just an hour and a half. Very well run establishment. Very reasonable pricing for the camping which has toilets and showers, Electric hook ups and bins for all rubbish, excellent staying for a few days or a week to the 7 that are not match only,3 are match only. The I fished all varied but I enjoyed them all and caught my first ever Barbel on Alders lake and pulled lots of carp out of maple lake,fishing on the bottom with mussels or bread or the you can floating baits then floating bread was a winner. A value break for sure,Can't really fault it unless of course camping isn't your thing but if your into then this is about as as you can get.Highly recommended.5 stars .
