We had an absolutely brilliant today with Shropshire Raft Tours! From start to finish, their service was outstanding – super friendly, professional, and really well organised. The 7-mile down the was not only but also loads of fun. The raft was comfortable, easy to handle, and perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery along the way. We laughed the whole way through and made some unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and unique way to Shropshire. We hired 2 single kayaks, 1 fairly experienced at basic level kayaking and 1 newbie and we had a ball on this stretch of the Severn thanks to the teams’ fantastic organisation and prep advice. It was all really easy due to the minibus transit to the start where you have the briefing and you kayak back to your car. This stretch of rover is a mix of fun faster moving parts and serene parts where we could float the kayaks together and eat our lunch. Dry bags are provided so you can take food, drink and a phone with you. They give 4 hours which is loads of even for first timers and gave us lots of opportunities to drift whilst we chatted or took in the scenery and this stretch is very beautiful. and chance to see the Shropshire countryside from a very unique viewpoint! We had a with Shropshire Raft Tours this weekend doing the Ironbridge to Bridgnorth route in canoes. We booked using their online system which was easy to navigate. The was very well organised, transfer was smooth and the canoes were in condition. We were provided with a laminated print out detailing the route of the so we knew what to do and when. I would recommend taking a picnic to have whilst floating in the river. It's a stretch of the Shropshire countryside so well worth soaking it in. Make sure you go to the toilet before your though as there aren't any toilets on site or suitable places to stop as it's private land all along the way. Parking at the Severn Park was easy & not too expensive. The team were on & well organised, & the minibus shuttle was great. The team were really & very helpful. There was a very thorough debrief of the whole route before we launched, which was backed up by detailed reference navigation cards we were given to take with us. We felt very well looked after & very safe. The team kept a close eye on our progress & were going to check in on us when it looked like we were running a bit over. We all had an amazing and this lovely company took all the stress out of the with and efficient transport, providing of kit, carrying the kayaks to and from the water as well as paddling advice! Highly recommended! A late morning/early afternoon trip. A well company! Everything went efficiently from the initial meeting point, through to safety instructions and pick up at the end. They take you in a mini bus from the car park to the start point and give you useful information delivered in a fun way, as well as a card with helpful suggestions while you are on route.
