Busy little transport cafe. Parking for trucks, Cars, bikes etc. Reasonable price on food and drink and waiting time wasn't bad. Nice selection of cakes which is always nice. Order at the counter and food is brought to you ( inside or outside ) nice clean toilets. Has been a place for bikers for many years and they do the odd biker night. Can get very busy on weekend with bikers so the cues maybe longer for food / toilets. Overall a decent place to for a pit if your in the area. this morning at the Raven Cafe. Food served quickly and with a smile. Breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty. Couldn’t fault anything about it. There are plenty of options too, from a full mega breakfast, to a healthy breakfast. They also offer a carvery too, which I didn’t try, but if it’s anything like the breakfast, I’m sure it’s lovely! Seems to be quite the haunt for bikers and lorry drivers. But I can see why. The food is and there are a fair few options for vegetarians also. When they didn't have what I requested once, the lady was nice enough to talk about other options. There's a large space for parking motorcycles outside as well as benches on the grass when the weather is good. Just be wary if there's a lot of traffic (in the car park) on a dry day, there's a lot of dust. At the side there's a tent which is great to keep you out of the rain. Toilets and showers are available. But for customers only. All in all a great place to by and no doubt I'll be by again. Enjoy. Nice meal tonight, 1st time I've eaten here, makes a change to enjoy a meal instead of just eating because you're hungry. Will be returning soon. Great breakfast.Friendly and quality. Excellent experience Great place to park up and the food is decent as well. Park on the gravel for the Raven and you get a meal voucher and a shower included in the price so can’t complain. Roadside cafe serving breakfasts, drinks & meals at reasonable prices. Truckers & bikers seem to be the main clientele. Friendly staff, large bumpy car park & toilets. It's a place to take a break. Nice food and staff. Toilets and showers were nice and clean. Thank you. Great food! Great breakfast, we went for the butchers sausages which were lovely. Portion of beans was a bit small though. Other than that, and food and friendly Typical truck cafe. You get what you pay for so dont expect the Ritz. Half decent breakfast, just quite expensive. Thats a large for just shy of £13. Staff seem polite. Bacon grilled, sausages deep fried to be cooked Just doesnt see to have the same atmosphere from 5 ish years ago. Will still come again, but wouldnt mind trying the other places close by Great cafe for food, recently renovated throughout. New chairs and tables. Renovated toilets and showers. Over night parking available. Highly recommended. Food very tasty too! The food in this picture is a small breakfast. They do a large and a belly buster for anyone up for the challenge lol. Absolutely brilliant place hot food and value , had large and mug of tea very tasty been a number of times will go again soon. traditional truck stop,staff are Great place for bikers. We popped in for a brew on the way home from a gig! We had already eaten, but the carvery looked AMAZING!! Hence, we ended up taking three portions home for tea! It was delicious! The were so lovely, we would definitely there again! Love a biker cafe!! Love visiting the raven when we go to shrewsbury to visit my Dad. Meals are fantastic, no matter what you have on the menu. Always cooked to perfection. Will be there tomorrow at dinner time, can’t wait to have a breakfast, or Carvery when I arrive. Keep up the work and fantastic service from staff.. Been to a few stops as a HGV Driver but this is the best one!!! are friendly and welcoming food was brilliant and lots of space to park your lorry showers/ toilets are and clean hopefully if I'm near again I will here for the night again!!
