There are places that touch something deep inside you — quietly, without warning. The Hill of is one of those rare, mysterious corners of the world where you suddenly feel something bigger than words. As I walked among the wooden angels, each carrying its own message of love, peace, or hope, I couldn’t explain why my eyes filled with tears. It wasn’t sadness — it was a wave of something pure, sacred, and ancient, as if the air itself remembered thousands of prayers whispered here. There’s a silence that speaks louder than sound. The breeze between the sculptures feels alive, almost like a gentle conversation with your soul. You sense kindness, forgiveness, and a strange comfort — as if unseen hands rest on your shoulders, telling you that everything is exactly as it should be. It’s a place where time stops. Where heart opens. Where mystery becomes peace. Unusual collection of wooden (but not only) statues depicting of all forms and shapes Amazing! Love the love, compassion, kindness, friendship, and bikers especially. However, they are all unique and beautiful 🙏. Hope the project will reach it's goal. Definitely worth a visit! Impressive place. I have been four times now to take friends. The carvings are nice and it’s an interesting stroll. It’s worth a look if you’re passing. Magical place with 50 plus angel statues overseeing the hill. A place to enjoy and slow down. Heavenly feeling when we are in the middle of Angels! Charming place to visit after trakai Castle. there are some musical instruments that produced angelical sounds added charm to the place. A little far to visit if you do not have your own transport. I walked 6km from trakai Castle (1 way), the path was well marked till the last 200m when the walking path disappeared, just continue to walk straight parallel to the road till you see the sign in lithunian (on the left) that should translate to hill. don't expect lots of actions, it's a quiet hill but the sculptures and the story and purpose of the hill may justify the long walk. It's a very peaceful place. I visited it in winter, with everything covered in snow, and it felt almost magical. You go from angel statue to angel statue, with them representing either different values (love, compassion, hard work, etc) or being erected to commemorate important Lithuanian "items". Best to visit in small groups. In summer, I'd think that the views towards the lake should be awesome. New "cross hill" just in shape of Angels. Cozy place to meditate. Dint forget to bring your angel for the Love, Heath, Faith, Family, Compation or any other you wish. Such a lovely place to take a walk. Fully recommended. It’s solemn and calm. I’ve been there a couple of times and I would be visiting again and again. I recommend you visit before the sun sets, so you can get the most magical view. We found this purely by accident after visiting Trakai Castle, which is only a few miles away. We had a peaceful walk among the angels, listening to the wind chimes and admiring the view. This place was very beautiful felt really scary at first since it was super windy and cloudy. We were the only one there, no one else plain lands everywhere. We felt blessed by this after when we bumped into situations. Things went like everysingle time god has sent someone to fix it. We really felt the presence of in our life.
