Great place on thw way from Kaunas to Vilnius to stop for food. Very big restaurant, with quite cheap prices and food is good. I absolutely love this place! The kibinai are really good (especially pork) but more than just the food, the place looks like it belongs in a fairy tale. The building from outside is beautiful but the inside really is gorgeous. If you're driving by or in the surrounding area make sure you stop by when if for a quick bite. Magical, relaxing, beautiful place. Very nice atmosphere and cosy food. For anyone who wants to go full Lithuanian cuisine mode I would recommend to try "Karališka Kopūstienė" (cabbage soup). Also open until late and a good choice of food. Very nice selection of vegeterian kibinai. We had the mushroom, cabbage and curd cheese with spinach ones. All were nice. The vegetables and mushroom ones could use more salt, but maybe that's subjective. Definitely recommended. Horrible service. We did not even get a chance to order drinks or food as in 25 minutes there were no one to take our orders. And the place wasn't even half full. Noticed two waiters seated at the back of the restaurant on our way out. This is a place to visit! Great food, beautiful location for less money! Our host was Kamile and she was brilliant, kind, very helpful and fast. I was really disappointed with my experience. The food arrived cold, and it took way too long to get both the food and drinks. Definitely not what I expected, and the service needs serious improvement. Great place with delicious food! Our server, Karolina Mok, was extremely attentive and polite — thank you, she truly saved our mood. Unfortunately, the way we were greeted by the other two waitresses wasn’t very welcoming. It felt like they weren’t happy to see us, which was a bit strange. Still, overall a nice experience thanks to Karolina and the tasty dishes. The meat dish “Kijevas” - 2 out of 4 ordered - were smelling bad, most likely spoiled meat. Vegetables old. Service was Ok. Environment interesting. Kibinai were ok. We wont be comming here anymore.
