Even without the river dammed it is possible to climb down the steps to swim in places and diving is possible from the bank. Lots of grass to picnic or sunbath and some trees for shade. There are a couple of old Mills on the site and a wonderfull mill stream. Recommended. Tres belle chute d'eau a la sortie de Paul et bien aménagé sinon il y a la plage fluvial mais moins typique Embora tenha visitado várias praias fluviais estas férias, o Paul foi o único sítio onde tomei banho. A praia é fantástica pela água e beleza do rio que apresenta um estado bastante selvagem. Recomendo mesmo uma paragem próximo ao cruzamento da Erada, uns quatro quilómetros a jusante, para disfrutar da paisagem da ribeira. Muita gente em Agosto e estacionamento mais difícil, mas não impossível. Faltam talvez equipamentos de apoio mas não sei se existem, talvez não me tenha apercebido deles pois a visita foi breve. Se gostam de um local tranquilo e deslumbrante, é só nadar um pouco e fugir da zona onde se mergulha e toma banho. Adorei! Ótimo para famílias e jovens. Tem bons acessos, casas de banho, relvado, acesso por escadas para a praia fluvial, tem bar ao pé. Água fresquinha de serra, mas limpa, grande praia fluvial. Aconselho para toda a gente que visita o concelho da Covilhã e a freguesia do Paul. Às portas desta freguesia e no coração da Serra da Estrela.
