Absolutely stunning place! Went there on Saturday, early morning and I had entire for myself. It's definitely one of the nices trails in the region, easy to and super calm. Don't mind the old comments that the infrastructure is in a bad shape - all is renovated, and there's no access issues. There is a ban on bike cycling on the wooden part of the trail. I love Varnikų Pažintinis Takas for three reasons. The breathtaking views, the fascinating educational signs along the trail, and the fact that each visit feels different. It's an experience that I highly recommend in every season! Views were worth the trip even at winter - beautiful frozen swamps, wild animal footprints and holes dug by them in the snow. There is much more snow, it's much colder and more humid than in larger cities during this time. Would recommend rubber boots, woolen socks (couple of pairs) and winter clothes right now.
