The rocky cove, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters, is a snorkeler’s paradise—I loved swimming among the diverse fish and exploring the underwater rock formations. The diving platform (about 4-5 meters high) was a thrilling highlight, adding a fun twist to the day, though it’s not ideal for young kids due to the rocky terrain and deep waters. A word of caution: avoid the parking attendants who try to charge for free spots. Look for free parking further away or ask at the tavernas, where parking is often included with a meal or drink. The sunbeds are affordable, but bring shoes to protect your feet from the sharp rocks. The sunset views are breathtaking, making it a perfect spot to end the day. Highly recommend arriving early to secure a place and enjoy the peaceful vibe before it gets busier! It is a special beach because the landscape is gorgeous, rocky (you need those special shoes for the rocks) and the color is wonderful. There is a platform where you can jump into the and everyone is trying to perfect their jumps. Parking is free if you eat someting there. Calling it a “BEACH” may be confusing because it is a rocky side of the island - the sea in front of most of the tavernas is usually rough and hardly accessible. The swimming/snorkling area is located in the bay (similar to Porto Limnionas) where is crystal clear and refreshing, which can’t be underestimated during the ruthless summer heat wave. There is plenty of nice, reasonably priced tavernas, with loungers and sun beds (some with infinity pools), which offer snacks or full menu. One of my favourite places with gorgeous afternoon light. Beautiful trip and a great experience for us! The sea was quite rough, but there’s a pier that makes it easy to get in. There’s also a natural salt 'pool' where you can cool off if you’re not comfortable going into the sea. Definitely bring shoes! The Sunset restaurant, which is part of the spot, was also great — the staff were very nice and attentive We visited the location on a Thursday but given that we are in the middle of the season, at 1 pm when we arrived, it was crowded. We managed even in this situation and on the rocks we found a place for our luggage since we stayed in the most of the time. The is deep right from the shore so for those who do not swim it is not advisable to enter the without support elements. Enjoy! Very lovely spot for the sunset, however, not so safe for swimming. There are very big rocks and a bit of strong current. There is a bar upstairs and you can rent beach chairs or beds if you want to soak up the sun. However, there is no drink service with these chairs. One really good jumping board. Good place for a swim too . There are number of good restaurants with free sunbeds for customers. Some good food too. Watching the sunset from one of them is amazing 🤩.
