Porto Schiza Tavern was a fantastic experience! I enjoyed the same dishes as my previous stop—a delicious Greek salad and perfectly grilled squid—and both were outstanding. The fresh ingredients and authentic flavors really stood out. The view, especially at sunset, was absolutely breathtaking, with a perfect spot to watch the sun dip into the sea. The combination of great food, friendly service, and stunning views makes this tavern a must-visit! Probably the first place where they don't lie about something "the best"... this restaurant has really the best you can get on the island, and also typical simple, very tasty Greek cuisine. Service is great and prices are absolutely fair, if not low. We are lucky we stay close as this place became our dinner restaurant! Amazing food and atmosphere in this Taverna! We had two grilled fish dishes, all perfectly cooked and well seasoned. ( shame we forgot to take a picture of main dishes ) Another plus for guests with kids, there is also a kids play ground and cute friendly dogs :) I stayed there for over 4 hours… there was barely anyone else there, so I just sat in the sun and read my book while I enjoyed the weather and the gorgeous view. I stayed until time and then had dinner. It was absolutely gorgeous and gorgeous food. The service was impeccable, never bothering me to keep ordering or to vacate. Recommending this to everyone! It was an unplanned surprise. We were looking for a place to watch the sunset, and we stumbled upon this amazing spot. The was truly astonishing, and the food was delicious! Thank you for having us! Beautiful place, good service but moderate food. Not bad but not so tasty as we are used to. And 1.5 eur per person got some bread we didn't ask for . But you can come here to enjoy the fantastic views...
