Portions are huge, so i would have wished for half a portion. the specials sound good but are overprices. Too bad i wouldhhave liked to try the Risotto that was n the menu. . Food is tasty, the steiermark Flammkuchen ist really nice. Very disappointing. No card payment. Not acceptable! OMG very rarely would I rave about any restaurant but food was fantastic. several levels above the home style cooking that is common in Austria country-side Excellent food and great selection.. The furniture has some vintage pieces and the place was decorated very lovely.. Bärnbach We stopped here after going to the Spanish Riding School Piber Lipizzaner Stud farm. There was easy parking. Very friendly atmosphere and an excellent menu. Had the daily special of mushroom potato soup which was super delicious. My wife had the pancake soup (beef broth)..again excellent and generous portions. Main courses were Cesar salad with grilled chicken and the Kasespatzel with cheese..OMG…IS IT RECOMMENDED??..ABSOLUTELY. Oh wait…I forgot to mention the strawberry dessert! This place is amazing. Not only is the outdoor garden dining beautiful but the food is absolutely delicious and the server was lovely. The schnitzel was the best I’ve ever had, the potato salad was great and my friend had the shrimp salad which was wonderful. I highly recommend you stop here if you’re in the area seeing the horses and/or the Hundertwasser church. The food was delicious and they even had vegan options for me and my sister Wir haben das Tax im August durch Zufall gefunden und waren damals schon begeistert. Dieser Eindruck hat sich diesmal nur bestätigt! Das Gasthaus selbst, aussen eher unscheinbar, besticht innen durch ein wunderschönes, gemütliches Ambiente und verfügt über einen tollen Gastgarten. Die Dame die uns bedient hat ist sehr freundlich und kompetent und hat uns bestens betreut. Die Speisen sind ein kulinarisches Erlebnis und auch optisch wunderschön arrangiert und heben sich DEUTLICH vom sonst üblichen Gasthausessen ab! Die Portionsgrößen sollten locker auch den großen Hunger stillen. Wir waren damit leicht überfordert. Aber wann aufhören, wenns so gut schmeckt!? ;-) In einem Satz: Lokal, Personal, Ambiente und Speisen sind ausgezeichnet! Schön das es so etwas noch gibt! Klare Empfehlung!
