It was just an ok cake (think of an ok French mille-feuille with all the pastry layers in the middle removed), though I don't know how it compares to it's namesake in Bled. And it's a small cafe with beers espresso, wines, dessert. It's 7.30pm and they've already closed up the gelato/ice 🍨 🍦 case, and that's actually why I stopped in. Not the greatest ambience. They're definitely trying with laminate light color "wood" tables with cloth seats. More of a stop along a long drive.. The famously familiar icebar, !! Absolutely incredible, go there!!! They have a wide verity of ice with very good coffee also a large selection of desserts to choose from. They are easy to find right at the main road and have a lot of parking. We had Apple (Zeleno Jabolko), Strawberry (Jagoda), and Blackberry (Robida). All of them were VERY refreshing, and could feel the seeds. There is NO artificial flavor at all, and it tasted like eating a real fruit. The ice creams were very soft, melting in your mouth. The Roll Cakes were really good; perfect moisture and just the right amount of cream. You HAVE to try this place if you visit Deskle!!
