In the city you can find therapeutic places and some springs with therapeutical properties. In the area there a some hiking trails and the scenery is beautiful Magnificent places. Worth visiting. A loooooot of accommodation opposrtunities BUT NOTHING ELSE TO DO😣😣😣. Only one independent restaurant which is good,with traditional food but not veerrrry various,traditional music by live band. The rest of the resort is literally deserted-no shops to buy things you need. No places to drink something nor to entertain yourself. The skiing slope is short and you spend 2 hours to get on top and ski down in 3-7 minutes-not worth it!! Basically,only walking is the thing to do there. Otherwise,you stay isolated in the hotel depending on the food and swimming pool of the hotel you stay at. Pretty strange and paradoxical toristic management plan, if you ask me. Just hotels and nothing else?? I m missing the logic here... Beautiful place with lots of trees and mountains. Five star hotels and restaurants with live band music. Hiking is also an option. Mineral water available across the resort and each of the water locations is quite unique, suited for a number of diseases that the water may help. Inhalatorul. Abandoned building It is one of the best salt mines that I ever visited. You can reach here via train or by car. Tickets fee contains bus that will take you down into the mine and entrance. Slanic Moldova is an underrated mountain resort, if you would like to visit somewhere with a lot of piece and quiet, but also five star resorts, ideal for taking time off and relaxing in a mountainside location, you might want to consider this!
