My beef soup was okay - although lukewarm. The other food was passable and reheated like crap. The waitress seemed a bit bothered by customers sitting down at the table. Our apologies for wanting to eat something on a Wednesday at noon 😂. All the restaurant’s outdoor tables were dirty and had only been cleaned after we sat down. It was empty though so it’s not like they didn’t have time to clean lol. At least give me a clean ashtray, not a full one from another table. The exterior was quite interesting with the statues. You can tell that the owner is planning to expand. It is a good place to have a rest while on the road. We always stop here for "mici" when in the region. I have stopped here for years and the quality is the same ever since. It is quite unique with its wood carved statues and a monastery on top of the hill. There is also a restaurant and an event hall. Definitely recommend. We stop for a coffee and couple of 'mici' - big mistake! Coffee machine was not clean and coffee was bitter and watery. Mici were dry, although was 10 am it looks like were cooked the day before and reheated that morning...horrible! Beside our table, while we were taking our coffee another family asked when was made the soup...waitress said very calm "was cooked few days back". Not much to say afterwards... Good place to grab a quick eat before going on the road again. Would recommend the soups for a quick meal After almost 1h waiting, we take a soup and micis but micis on the menu must to be paid in other place and moreover you need to go pick up them.. The child serving is sleep, if you are on a hurry don't try the upper restaurant, just micis down Very lovely area to take a driving break. Clean & fresh air. Nice atmosphere. Tasty 'mici', which I highly recommend, as well as walking for a few minutes around the place, as there are plenty of stuff to discover. Not the best customer service ever but the girl over there was nice and cute. Food was great and cheap. It was horrible. Chicken was under cooked and smelled like rotten, which probably was. Mashed potatoes were made with vegeta and did not taste good at all. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
