Qui il tempo scorre lento, lasciarsi prendere da questa pace ey neraviglioso Equity Terme is a wondrous space, flora, fauna, hot springs and the Kaste caves. A geographical treat steeped in history. Interesting place to visit, very informative guide who speaks very good English. You must book in advance. Beware of steep and narrow stairways though. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. No description, you just go and experience it. There's an interactive museum and some guides introducing you to the important things to know. We'll preserved history and nature Great for beginners young and old. Not to difficult but there are quite some steps to and in the cave. We took the Proteus tour with audio guide as we don't speak Italian. For our 8 year old hard to follow, and we translated to our native language (Flemish) which was sometimes a bit of a struggle to get the terms right. The cave was well lit and features some big halls and long corridors. Afterwards there's a viewpoint you can visit with archaeological findings. The local team is nice and gentle, ready to entertain guests of all ages. The caves are rather small and limited but the area is really unique. If you do some hiking it would get better. Info some of the activities are closed, you have to book largely in advance, and they are uselessly paranoid about covid rules. Bellissima location perfetta per il presepe vivente! Ogni anno è un’emozione! Se le visitate in una serata serena, potete vedere questo cielo stellato! I would like to write a review of this experience but due to the unwillingness of the people who are in charge there, we could not go to the caves. First we had to have an online reservation then there had to be at least 5 persons to subscribe to the tour. When there were 5 people at 17.00 o'clock we couldn't go because "the girl" just closed the cash-register!! The lady telling all this went with us inside the 'museum' smoking all the time. I find it staggering that these persons are allowed to treat people this way. Very disappointing! Great experience and lots of information about the cave by the guide. We also did the zipline and that was fantastic! We loved it! Very long cave. Great guidance. Majestic. Parts of walkways closed possibly due to rain . Caves closed but still a very pleasant stroll and some lovely views. Several problems occurred during our try to enter: 1. Access only with a reservation made beforehand, so, with this problem solved (there was a group we could join) problem 2. occured: No possibility to pay by card (we had 6 euro less than we should have had, the boss forbade her employee to lend us this money, though he agreed, even if we left documents or a watch worth 10 times the amount to pay, so we asked some people outside and they agreed to lend us it; running back to the car to get the rest of the money was not an option for her, though it would have taken no more than 5 minutes) so then we had the money, but, again, there was problem 3.: The children had the wrong shoes, despite she saw them already 10 minutes earlier and I saw the close look she gave them, so why not tell us straight away? I think she was just looking for reasons not to let us in. Caves might be beautiful, but the attitude of the boss is quite nasty tbh. Wonderful place to visit. The guide was very knowledgeable and his English was really good. The caves themselves are quite difficult to traverse if uneasy on one's feet. We had no difficulty however and enjoyed the stallegtites and staligmites etc. Perfectly rustic. Free entry, few people, mostly locals. We loved it, it is off the beaten track Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
